He was driving the boat back to the pack.He could see Alex was looking round. It was a beautiful pack. He knew people probably said that about their own pack, but it was dark but beautiful. He mindlinked, Garret. You better call home and warn them of visitors, but inform them of what grandfather knows

"On it," Garrret said.

He saw Garret making his calls. He pulled a few faces, and it wasn't going down well. It was most likely his father.We arrived on the shoreline. His head, omega, that looks after all the boat came to take his away. He kept them hidden so none would be tempted to steal one and try and go to the main land or into the pack.

He did have a boat that would take you to the main land, but only once a day he didn't want multiple people coming back and forth all the time would draw unwanted attention to the pack. He saw Alex watching, and he explained she just said, "Okay." she was curious but not overly noisy asking questions.

He had a car brought down it wasnt a long walk, but he thought with luggage and a new baby, he thought the car would be best. His parents were waiting on the steps. Mother looked happy, but father, of course, sullen. He introduced everyone to each other. He got a scowl from his mother she knew he'd not be welcoming. Blame his bloody father for drilling into him, no strangers welcome.

His mother walked them off to their rooms. Alex and Brooke would see that inside we were a bright, welcoming pack, unlike the outside dark, unwelcoming. He was watching them walk away. When his father started dragging him away to his office. Father, get off. You might be his father, but he is the Alpha, and you won't drag him in front of his unit or the pack. Calm down.He let go once we reached the office.He was very quiet until we got inside his office, and then he let rip.

"What was you think letting two strange women into a pack it could be ploy to destroy us. " Father said.

Father calmed down he was reluctant at first, but they are no threat. Brooke has just given birth in the woods they were on their way to council estate to meet grandfather, your own father. "How, do you know that? couldn't be telling the truth?" he asked

Because he spoke with Grandfather in front of his unit and Killian. He knows them. "How, do you know it's the real people he knows?" He asked.

Father, give it a rest. You're so paranoid. You have to stop this. Your behaviour is rubbing off on him. He almost left two women defenceless with 8 rouges because he knew you'd be like this. He isn't saying let everyone in, but we have to stop being so closed off. If those rouges had killed two women and a baby on our land and we were they and didn't stop it, the wolfen council would have been up his a** over it.

"I don't like it," he says. He knows, and he understands why, but we can't brand every stranger the same way. He is happy to keep the visiting pack at the forest house, but he can't turn way helpless women and a baby

"Fine, but keep an eye on them. I can't scent what shifters they are. I don't like it. " Father said

All that means is we've never met their species before. "That doesn't worry you?" he asked. A little yes, if he honest but they've not shown any aggression towards him or his unit even when he was being a jerk to them.

"A rude asshole is what you were called boss, " Raven said.

Thank you, Raven, helpful. She looked away, trying not to laugh. Grandfather is arriving tomorrow to speak with them. He has a feeling he's either going to want them to stay here or take them with him.

"I hope he takes them with him," Father said, storming out of his office.

He sat in his chair and layered back. His unit all shaked the head. His father wasn't always like this was a fun-loving and free like grandfather, but losing his son changed him and made him paranoid and overly strict. So, it made him the same.

Mother came in and clipped him over the back of the head. Hay, what was that for. "You were rude, wasn't you?" She asked. Yes, but in his defence, he was on edge as he knew father wouldn't like it.

"Ignore your father. It's about time this fear of his f***ed off. I like having new people in the pack and a baby, " she said.

He was shocked he didn't think he's ever heard his mother swear ever in his own life. He apologized, Mother, and he'd apologized again if it meant you did not hit him again. His unit laughed. "Alex called him a rude a**hole," Raven said.

Mother hit him again. Goddess, mother that hurt, and thanks, Raven. Who side are you on. "Yours always, but in this situation, you were so wrong. You need hitting," Raven said.

Thanks. He go see them later, let them both settle in."Raven, could you go find a breast feeding pump for Brooke."Mother asked.

"Sure thing," she said. Both Raven and Mother left his office. He rubbed a hand other his face. "Are you okay?" Garret asked.

No, it's just been a weird 24 hours."I'll go see Martina see if she'll pay them a visit. I've never met anyone that didn't like my mate," Garret said. True, yes, do that. He carried on doing his work until he realised it was dinner time. He went to the dining hall. Father was still annoyed with him and not speaking to him. Mother told him to ignore his father he needs to get over himself.

Garret had said, "Martina had been to see them she didn't push, but by the smell she could smell from their suite, Alex had just cooked, so she left them be." Thanks Garret he'll go see them after he's eaten.

"Why don't you take the breast pump but polite and smile. You have a great smile, Tristan, use it, " Raven said. Alright, point taken, he'll do better. He finished his food and grabbed the bag that the pump was in. He headed to their room. Mother had put them two doors down from him.He wondered if Alex thought that was strange.

He took a deep breath and knocked. She answered. She didn't look annoyed or happy to see him. "Hello Alpha, what can i do for you?" She asked. He had to admit she was beautiful ice blonde hair blue eyes that were bright as the ocean. She had full lips and a nice body. He hadn't realised he was smiling but hadn't said anything.

Sorry Hello Alex, here is the breast pump for your mother. He handed it to her. "Oh, thank you, you didn't have to bring it. I would have collected it," She said.

She was making a point that she wasn't going to be a burden. Alec he is sorry its not an excuse but we've have a lot of pain in this pack especially his father and his father's fear has ruled him and he shouldn't have been rude and dismissive of you and your mothers needs "I'm sorry again." She stared at him for a moment

"Okay, you're forgiven. Just dont let it happen again. We aren't defenceless or a charity case. We will pay our way while we stay here." She said.

That won't be necessary. Can we start again? She cooked her eye brow. He cleared his throat and held out his hand. "Hello, I'm Alpha Tristan Meyers of Black River pack. You are welcome here as long as you need to be." He said. She looked at his hand and took it.

"Hello Alpha Tristan, I'm Alexandra Sky or Alex it's nice to meet you. The nice you anyways, " she said.

His jaw ticked that he was being nice, and she was making it hard work. She noticed and let go. Goodnight, Alex, and he walked away before she called him an a**hole again. He went to his own suite and flopped on his bed.

He was about to fall asleep when a guard mindlink him "Alpha not to alarm you but one of the women you came back to the pack with looks like she's going to get into the lake and in the restricted area" Nightguard says.

"I'm sorry, I know it your lake , but no one was around." She said, annoyed tone.

No, it's not that. They are traps all the way around his lake. You will get hurt she was looking like she didn't believe him. He picked up a rock. Please watch, he throws the rock into the river, and it makes an electric effect and shoots the rock back put into pieces. Her eyes went wide. That's why he shouted. "You need some sort of sign up that f**king dangerous and f**king crazy are you mad who would have a lake that no one can go into?" she said, angry.

He feels irresponsible to leaving you. "I can take care of myself. I'll be fine. Please leave," she asked again. He turned to walk away she watched him get all the way into the pack house before she stripped off. He walked up to the first floor stairs window and watched her not a pervy way he was concerned, but curiosity got the better of him.
