Ch 14 Alexandra

It's been the hardest week. She found out now she knew who Tristan was going to be for her. His scent was everywhere. Her mother was right. If she didn't separate herself from him, she was going to pin him down and have her way with him it multiple times.

A couple of mornings ago, she'd gone for a jog and saw him with his unit training on the training grounds. He was only in shorts. He did have a nice body, muscles in all the right places, a nice completion. Dark eyes that actually sparkled.

Then his stripped off his shorts and shifted to his wolf. "What's his name?" Cyan asked. She doesn't know, but he was a large wolf with a very shiny coat, darker eyes with a hint of silver. He was a beautiful wolf. Cyan pushed forward she wanted to touch her mate. No, no, no, Cyan, and she turned her body back towards the pack house.

She ran into her room, and her mother sat at the table. "I'm guessing you ran into Tristan," she asked. Yep, and we saw his wolf. Cyan wanted to touch him. Her mother laughed, and she was glad you found this funny mother. It's harder than she thought.

"Then don't fight it, dear, " she said she looked at her mother shockliy. Are you serious? You've changed your tune what's with the turn around. "I want you to be happy, and if that Tristan, then so be it, I've been thinking it's not fair for me to take your true love away. I like it here. I feel safe. Tristan is a nice alpha. Maybe go talk to him, feel him out, " she said.

She raised at eyebrow at her mothers word. " Not literally, Talk to him," she said she's ignored him all week. He was going to think she's full on crazy loopy woman. He kisses her, and then she hides for a week in his own pack, the Alpha.

Her mother laughed. "He might, but he clearly likes you he'll look past the crazy. "She said. Thanks, mom, helpful. This morning was the worst morning mother. She woke her up to find in her sleeping in a bed of blankets. Cyan had started nesting. She didn't know she could do that without marking a mate, and second, it wasn't spring.

"Alex, you need to talk to him today it's starting to affect your phoenix." She now see its possible.You're denying your other half. We normally nest in autumn, but it's not unheard of the body that wants what the body wants, I guess." Mother said.

She'll talk to him today she has no clue what to say. She got showered and dressed. She headed to his office after a thumbs up from her mother. She was about to knock when he opened the door. He was dressed in a grey long sleeve shirt. The sleeves were rolled up to his elbow. He had dark grey trousers on. His hair had been brushed back. His dark eyes were on her.

He smiled. "Hi," he said. She returned it hi. "Can I help you, Alex? do you need something?" he asked. Yes, she was wondering if we could talk. "I can't right now. My parents and grandfather are on their way back. Could we talk later, dinner, maybe?" he said.

"Say yes now, or I will," Cyan said. Yes, where what time? "My suite 7pm," he said. Okay, see you then. She walked away and decided to get breakfast in the dining room. She possibly will be his Luna. Oh s**t a Luna, she has no clue what to do and how to act. Mother hasn't been a Luna since she was 10 years old, and she would have been the heir to the pack, so she wouldn't have learnt how to be a Luna.

She just stood in the middle of the room with a tray in hand. She felt someone move her to sit. "Are you alright, miss? " he said. She looked at him, and them felt confused. He looked like Gio, but wasn't he smiled.

"Hello, miss my name. Mattao, are you alright?" he said. You look like Gio. "Si` iam Gio father," he said. Ciao, il mio nome e`" Alex said. He smiles. " Tu parli italiano," he said Si` She speaks 5 languages Italian, German, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. "That's impressive. why those? " he asked.

She travelled a lot and when you spend time in the culture it kind of made her want to learn their language especially when most take the time to learn English. She enjoys it. What are you currently learning? " he asked. Greek, it's a beautiful place, Greece, so she decided that was her next. She is currently learning the alphabet and numbers.

"Sounds fascinating," he said. Two women came over and sat down. "Alex, this is my mate, Gio mother Adele and his sister Aria. Ladies, this is Alex, she's just moved here with her mother and brother, " he said

"How are you finding it?" Adele asked. It's lovely everyone has been great friendly "But" she asked. Not all are happy. We are her. "You mean alpha Titus?" he said. She nodded

"He's not as harsh as he seems after his son died. He found it his mission to protect everyone and make this a fortress, but with doing that, he's made himself hard to read, a bit cold and unapproachable at times. He was a great Alpha loved by all still it but his grief and fear has consummed him give him time he'll come around plus he can't remove or you or your family from the pack thats Tristan job," Matteo said.

Thank you for that. It's comforting to hear so how an Italian family ended up here. She could understand British or French. The portal is in their country. He laughed. "Well, that's a story. Would you like to hear it?" he asked. She nodded.

"My great grandfather was the 3rd gamma heir in my family, so there are no rules or expectations, so he could do as he pleased really. He decided to go travelling around the realms. He stumbled on this pack here. They were currently being attacked by rouges. So he joined in to help. Shocked the s**t out of everyone."

"Include Titus grandfather. We are appenine Wolf. We are very rare and will only be seen in Italy, mostly. The alpha at the time sensed gamma blood. He asked my grandfather if he wanted to stay a while. He wanted to see if he could find a connection with his mate, the luna. " he said.

Why?

"The gamma was killed saving the Luna in a attacked they tried to save her, and he did but died in the process he was unmate and no children, no siblings to take over the role. So the line unfortunately died with him. It's very sad, really. He asked my grandfather if he wanted to be their gamma. They got on well, and he liked the pack. He was 3rd in line, so he wouldn't be needed at home as he had an older brother and sister who had children already. " he said.

That's amazing. New life away from home, that must have been strange

"It was, but on the full moon, he found his mate Marnie, and it all just fit into place. He stayed, so we are 5 generations now in this pack." He said beaming.

That's nice. "Your home pack?" he asked. It's beautiful on a dark lake like this. It was destroyed by rouges and vampires when she was a child. We were lucky we were visiting family at the time, or we would have been killed too.

"That's awful dear, we are very sorry for your loss," Adele said. Thank you. It was a long time ago, but thank you. "Where is your father?" he asked. She didn't really know what to say. He's on business, and she's hoping he will meet us here soon. She knew they didn't believe her but didn't push.

They heard a big cracking. She got up, Mattao put his hand to her to wait, his eyes glazed over. After a few moments, He returned. "Nothing to worry about. It was nice meeting you, but I must go, " he said.

He left it. It was nice meeting you both, too, but she must get back to her mother. Goodbye. She walked past Tristan office door, and it was fully broken. What the hell happened here? She heard their voices she headed upstairs and saw Tristan and his unit go into his suite. What happened? she went into her own suite and told her mother

"It's probably nothing dear, but just go ask?" mom said. She can't just go ask.

"Well, ask what's happening for dinner, and he may just tell you what you what happened to his door?" mom said.

She didn't know it was just said we'd have dinner in his suite. She thought that would give her an excuse to ask. She left her suite she was about to knock when all of them came out. "Alex, is everything okay? what can I do for you?" he asked. She wanted to know if we were cooking or having food brought up. She saw your office door aswel. Is everything okay?

"Yes, Father had an angry moment on his return, and I wanted to discuss with my unit in private without angering him more. The meal he doesn't mind what do you prefer?" he said.

She doesn't mind as long as it's nut free. She is allergic. "Okay, nut free il see you later. I must go fix my door and speak with my grandfather," he says. She nodded she went back to her suite.

She was illergic but didn't know what else to say. She decided to dress nice but not overly the top. She showered, washed her hair, and put a bit of makeup on. She wanted to make an effort. She picked out a simple black v neck t shirt and a white skirt and sandals.

"Oh, you look lovely, dear." Mother said.

No too much? "No, just right casual but pretty," she said. Wish me look."You don't need it. He's your mate, he will understand. I'm sure off it," Mom said. She hopes she is right about that.

"He is, I feel it," Cyan said.
