We've all heard about the popular kids ruling the school. They prance around with their heavily made up faces and bad boy personas bullying the "NERDS" who they usually feel are below them. In almost every school you find the clique. They're not that hard to spot. They are utterly predictable. Let me describe them; they're loud and annoying, don't seem to care about anyone's property, the belittle the helpless, make fun of the different, to be honest I could go on and on. Countless movies have been made showing the transformation from nerd to popular, but be real. WHO THE HECK CARES. Welcome to the world of the "NERDS". I'm sick and tired of hearing about those snobby wanna-bees. Its great in our little world if you didn't know. Explain this to me; why would you want to be exactly like your friend Emma over there. Those " POPULARS" follow each other like the words panty and bra. They are stuck up each other's butts. If you think I'm wrong, you're probably one of them, check yourself. Contrary to most beliefs there are different categories of "NERDS". First we have the gamers ( they are the ones who spend most of their time , money and energy playing games. Obviously. At least half of them are great with computers and tech. Figures.), then we have the weebs ( most of their time and energy go toward watching, reading or creating anime/ manga of their own. Majority of them are talented artist.), we also have the emos (to be really honest, some consider them nerds and some don't, none the less, they are also really talented. Some create stories and poetry that can cut deeper than the sharpest knife.), let's not forget about the OG nerds, the ones who were considered nerds from the beginning of the school era. Those nerds are none other than the brain boxes themselves ( they are the really smart ones who pass every subject with flying colours and not breaking a sweat. They are good at all things academic but not always physically. They are the granddaddy of all nerds.) What's cooler than falling into one nerd category, is falling into multiple. Imagine being able to draw like a champ, I'm talking realistic faces, details like no other, while also being able to beat Issac Newton at his own game. Its awesome. we don't carry around a fake persona, or try to stifle who we really are. We don't blend into the crowd, we stick out like a sore thumb as some would say. All nerds have different styles. We have the nerds represented by Urkle, squeaky voice, pants high up to the back, suspenders and those glasses. However, in reality, they are not exactly like that, most do rock those glasses, but those pants are just ridiculous. The other styles is simple, we dress as normally as everyone else, except for the emos, they have a farmers fashion sense unless they are pastel goth in which case they are dark in bright colours. Being a nerd is like having a superpower, every one needs you. Who do they call to do their homework or copy on during tests and who do they usually need to fix the broke down computers in the lab. They call us, the "NERDS". Without us, how would the world run.
