FROM THE BEGINNING
***CLAIRE'S P.O.V***
Hi Claire Mikael. Here I am a 24-year-old fashion designer. I love what I do. At least it gives me happiness. I was brought up in a family where I have seen my parents fighting each and every day and I think they, like nothing ever happened in front of everyone.
And they taught me the same, that if I ever want to show any of my emotions to anyone, then it should be. I am always in a nearby room and guess what I learned from it. It is just the opposite. I don't have conversations in a nearby room because a guy named Chris Evan stood by me, my best friend, all the time and made me so fearless that I could be the one who could could loudly out my voice.
But now I am coming back to the circle from where I belong to the closed room and now I like that, because the only person I had with me is not mine any have.
Let's start from the beginning with how we met and how it got spoiled.
7 YEAR'S AGO
I want to cry so hard but I can't because this is not what I have learned. I have to control my emotions. "If you want to cry then just do it, because trying to hide it will only make you suffer", I turned as I heard the voice. Who I see him. I am filled with confusion. Who he
"Sorry I didn't get you"
"Hello, I am Chris Evan, your new classmate. I saw when they said about your parents. You should be proud of that and happy that you have a family about whom people can talk."
"Whatever they said, it's just a part they know it's not some admire. By the way, hi, I am Claire Mikael."
"Wait if I am not wrong. You are the only daughter of the Mikael family, if that is what I am thinking."
"Yeah"
"Damn, I got to meet you finally", I smiled.
"What do you mean by that?"
"My parents work in your father's company. I heard about you from them."
"Wait are you Mr.Jason Evan's son", he nodded.
"Yeah that I am"
"Hi, I know Uncle Evan's very well. I am glad that we have both met."
"Same here. I never thought that a rich brat like you would be so innocent and calm after what he said to you." I looked away and then at him.
"This is how I grew up. I can't help it. We have to listen to what our elders say and that is what I was doing."
"I totally understand that, but my question is not this. My question is, why are you listening, because you don't have to. There is no need for you to listen to him. It was not your fault and sorry that being born in a perfect family sometimes makes you weak."
"Excuse me". I looked at him with a question in my eyes.
"Yeah, this is what you are. My father told me how perfect your parents are, so sorry to say, but that has not done any good to you."
"I don't have anything to say, thank you for showing care, but now I am good. Excuse me."
"Wait". I stopped on my track and looked at him.
"What happened?"
" At least wait till your car comes", I smiled and pointed towards my car.
"Its right their bye"
"Bye". I made my way towards my car and then got in it. I looked out of the window at him and looked
After a while, I reached home. As I reach home, I climb out of the car and head in. I am on my way to my room. When I hear glass shattering, I take a deep breath. I know what's happening and it happens daily. Now I have a habit of this. I go into my room and then I lock it in. In it I change into something comfortable and then look at myself in the mirror.
This is how I am. This is how I grew up. I know what I can say and what I think is what it is and it will be as it is and I have that and whoever meets me will eventually accept this, because my fate is fixed.
I take a deep breath and then hop into bed. I close my eyes and fall asleep. I wake up. I looked into my phone and saw the time. "Damn it, I am so late". I hopped out of bed and did my morning routine. I got ready and made my way out of my room. I ran towards my car and sat in it and said "Please drive fast".
"Yes mam", the driver drove as fast as he could as I reached college. I hopped out of the car. I ran inwards when I bumped into a muscular figure.
"Shitt". I was about to fall when I felt a strong pair of arms wrapped around my waist.
"You are safe princess". I slowly opened my eyes as I realized that I was safe when I saw the same pair of eyes.
"You" he smiles and says.
"I expected a thank you after this, but it's alright. I can understand that."
"Umm sorry I mean. Thank you for saving me."
"Ohhh I am glad that I became your night in shinning armour"
"Hmmm could you please let me go", he made me stand and then leave my waist.
"So, princess, can I know where you are going in so much hurry, like literally running a a."
"I was running towards my class. I was late."
"Ohhh princess you are clumsy, by the way, my dear, there is no class in the first half". I widened my eyes.
"What do you mean by there being no class in the first half?"
"If you had bothered to open your phone, then you would have known that there would be a staff meeting in the first half, so there will be no classes in the first half." I was released. A breath of relief.
" OK thank god by the way, why are you here?"
"I am here because I wanted to complete all my work just for that."
"Ohh okkk so do you need any help? I have all the notes."
"I would love that help."
