"Merry Christmas!" My siblings burst into my room.
"Get up! Why are you still sleeping?" Trish shakes me while someone opens the curtains to let in the sunlight. "Plus, it’s snowing a little," she adds.
"And we have hot cocoa waiting for us downstairs," Trent chimes in.
I open my eyes to see them all wearing Santa hats. "One for you too," Mason says, placing a hat on my head.
"Alright, I’ll be downstairs soon; I just need to brush my teeth," I shoo them out.
I received many Christmas wishes from friends and my mom, whom we'll see in two days.
"Mia, hurry up! We have lots of gifts to open!" Matt yells.
