Mia's POV
Thanksgiving is just days away, and school is closed for a week—I'm thrilled! Dad will be gone for the next two days but will return to help with our Thanksgiving dinner. My older siblings are coming home soon with their partners, and Asher wants me to spend a night at his place.
Gloria and Michael are finally together after a few dates, but it turns out she was only crushing on Derek.
Quizzes have stressed me out, especially the surprise history quiz. Thankfully, I reviewed the night before and passed. Final exams are looming in a couple of weeks, and Mason has already made his study timetable, which I still need to create.
"Mia, can you check on Matt? I think I smell burnt pancakes," Mason calls as I exit the bathroom after brushing my teeth.
I sigh and head to the kitchen
