Asher's POV
"Alright guys, autumn is ending soon, so we won't be practicing on the field much until spring," the coach says. "But we can practice indoors," he adds, and we cheer.
"Thanksgiving is coming, and with school closed for a week, I expect no one to gain more than one pound. Next week's practice will be harder. Now, you're dismissed," he says, blowing his whistle.
After I finish showering and changing, I hear Matt say, "I'll meet you at my car." As I leave the locker room, I spot a familiar girl with chestnut hair. What is she doing here?
