Asher's POV
Today, the project is finally complete, and I’m relieved to be free from the crying doll that served as my alarm for the past four months. I’ll miss it, though. Crystal did most of the babysitting during the break since she took the doll with her on her family trip. Sam and Claire will likely get a C at best, as Claire barely contributed.
Alec and Mia will undoubtedly earn an A; they took great care of their dolls. I can see Mia being a wonderful mother someday—I hope she’ll be the mother of my kids in the future.
“Finally getting rid of that doll,” Allison grumbles. “That thing is annoying.”
“It was a great alarm for me,” Dad comments.
“Ash, since your birthday is coming up, what do you want?” Mom asks.
