"I can't believe my brother is graduating tomorrow. Just yesterday, he was a freshman worried about making the team," Ally sighs.
"Will you miss him when he goes to California in two months?" I ask.
"Of course! Who will be my partner in crime and have my back during family dinners?"
"You'll be fine, sis. I promise I’ll call every week and text most days," Derek assures her.
"You better," she replies, playfully punching his shoulder.
Unfortunately, Derek and Charles haven't dated. Derek met his boyfriend while visiting Stanford, where he was accepted alongside two other soccer teammates. Charles got into Berkeley, a school Hannah hopes to attend next year. I wonder how Alec will react, since his parents want him at Harvard, Columbia, or Yale. Harvard or Yal
