CHAPTER ELEVEN
Wednesday dawned chilly but sunny, with not a cloud in the sky. The temperature as reported by his iPhone was forty-nine degrees. Pretty typical for early April. It would get up into the high sixties, maybe even the seventies by the afternoon. Greg had the heat turned off in his house as he was gone at work all day, and by evening the sun did its thing and extra heat was not needed. But early mornings felt downright cold as his bare feet hit the floor. Greg hustled to the bathroom and turned on the hot water in the shower.
Luxuriating in the warmth, he smiled as he thought of the day ahead. Solving a mystery, working with Brian, and interviewing a pretty girl. It all added up to a fun and exciting day. He enjoyed the warmth of the water and the thoughts of the day ahead. F
