CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE
Greg walked into the office. He heard the murmur of voices from inside and knew George and Brian were discussing the accident. He hoped when he told them the whole story, George would let him resign. Getting fired would be the end of his career. He knew he had screwed up badly, and felt as if he were headed for his execution.
Brian rose as he entered. “You’re soaked and shivering. Sit down and I’ll get you a cup of coffee.” Greg greeted Mason and sat inhaling the warm aroma from the cups the two men were drinking.”
