CHAPTER SIX Greg walked across the street to his office. That was the beauty of a small town. The courthouse was just steps away. No long commute. No traffic jams. Mountain View had grown since he was a kid, but it was still a small town and you could drive from one end to the other in the minutes - maybe fifteen in rush hour. Greg loved it. He entered the reception area and Tammy, the receptionist, handed him a message. “Mr Mason wants to see you right away,” she told him, in case he misread the message. He chuckled.
