I swear, f*cking Charles. I should have fought him, but I was worried about Rain getting hurt, caught in the middle of us. She was teasing him with me, but it was so f*cking hot. I didn't think Charles would get so messed up about it. I hate him more now.
How can he be mated to her? What does he even have to offer her? I don't understand it, and I hate it completely. Sometimes I wish it could be just her and I… no Charles.
I love her so damn much already. She's my whole life now. I'll do anything to make sure she's happy, including helping the person I hate the most right now. I will not let anything or anyone hurt her again. I'll train in swords and hone my magic to better protect her. I'll become stronger for her.
