For a thousand years, the elders of the clans have been at odds, attacking each other relentlessly like a world war that mocks the existence of the entity of the soul seed giver. The ebizen bird even flew high above the war between clans. Its milky-white wings and long feathers frightened people just by watching it fly by with its powder of misfortune. The powder of the ebizen bird always leaves a bitter aftermath on those who are exposed to it. Like a master of doom, the bird gradually became a sign that someone would die with every meter it flapped its wings. Relentless rain and rumbling thunder echoed throughout the island continent, Oltard. I don't know when, or who started it, but Oltard is a continent that has never been at peace. Warfare between clans was one of the reasons. The surface is accustomed to dead bodies lying on the ground, spears embedded in the surrounding soil, dead plants burnt by explosive fires, and collapsed buildings witnessed year after year. Even in the once charming rivers, instead of being fresh green with moss and clear as the reflection of the sky, the flow of water is red with the blood of martyred warriors. I gritted my teeth, "We shouldn't be like this," I complained. No one dared to look at me to refute my words including my father, Vjerd, the elder of our clan. The man just stared blank at me. Is he disappointed in me? Was he afraid of our fate after this? Was there nothing that could strengthen the gaze of the man who nurtured me anymore? Why did he look at me as if I were so pitiful? Carle Urudo, is my name. I am the son of Vjerd Urudo, the elder of the sea serpent clan known as Eloka. We are a unique and most feared clan that resides in unusual caves at the bottom of the Syl sea, the dead sea. Suddenly a girl approached me. Long, jet-black hair with dull gray eyes like galena crystal, skin as pale as milk and lips that blushed like a young apple shortened her distance to me. I knew exactly what she was going to say this time, I could guess from the look in her eyes, I could see it. "Myr, jzardn e," just like my mind. Sis, explain. I looked back at Sola from where I was sitting. Sola is my favorite sister and she is the one who respects me the most, so it's only natural that she's waiting for my words right now. Everyone here is waiting for the sentence that should come out of my mouth even though it's difficult. Yase's vision is also never wrong, so for now it's better for me not to deny it. "I can't prove my innocence. But I also can't explain if I am guilty later. Yase, I trust you completely. I know you wouldn't be so bold and capable as to manipulate your own vision. And for Father and Sola, as clan leaders, can we talk more comfortably after this?" Father and Sola looked at each other. I stood up and headed towards the room where we usually discussed, ah maybe more precisely the end of our residence cave. Father and Sola followed me from behind, their footsteps felt weak, maybe because of shock or other feelings that I don't know. The end of the cave, which we use to our discussion spot, was a place of narrow, damp passages. The air in the cave was chilly considering it was at the bottom of the deepest Syl Sea. The eternal blue flames between the walls of the cave illuminated the narrow path we walked through like an incandescent lamp. We reached the end of the cave. The space that had somehow formed stretched like a perfectly circular artificial room, perhaps sculpted by my ancestors. Our books and parchments also resided in the cavities of this place. And of course, not forgetting the various tools and furniture such as the table made of stone that clearly welcomed us. We called this room as ‘the king's chamber’, which meant that only members of the clan leader's family could enter. "Carle," my father said suddenly. I straightened my shoulders, looking straight at the level my father was staring at. What would he say this time? Is he going to corner me? No, I don't think he's someone who would do that. He's going to interrogate me calmly, isn't he? "You should go." My scales tightened, bringing out my aura that I had unconsciously let out. My emotions were exposed by my father's short sentence just now. How should I respond to this? "D-dad..." I said a little shakily, this was embarrassing. "You don't have to fight for us anymore, our clan has been strong since the first generation of Eloka. You've led our clan to landslide victories over the past decades, Carle. Rest, get some time, and let us know what you find." It was so easy for him to say. That man didn't blink at me at all even though Sola looked confused at the crazy words coming out of his mouth. Sola approached father and I saw that her legs were walking a little unsteadily, her hands were clenched into fists and her eyes were as dark as the deepest sea. "I will not break my word, Sola," my father said. "Dad, why?" asked Sola with a shudder. I didn't say anything. "I mean... You're not like you used to be... why doesn't Carle get the right to at least prove himself? Why did you make that decision instead of discussing it?" Sola was trembling. I can't do anything for her now. If I were a good brother, I would have wiped away the tears on my sister's cheeks and calmed her down, reassuring her that there was another way to deal with this. But how could I do that? Even my mind was in turmoil at what my father said. Get some time he said? He’s joking, the entire continent is at war with each other, and my clan is one of the clans with the fewest numbers. It would be insane if my father actually kicked me out just because of our seer's vision. I mean, it's not that I have any hatred for Yase, it's just that is it not too much to expel your own clan's bloodline in a time of war like this? "Is there something to hide?" I asked hoarsely. "No. What you will do in Yase's sight you cannot change. So, we'd better break this blood relationship immediately." I could not help but let my aura writhe and sway. The aura entity I was born with traveled along every inch of skin of my stature. I tried to be stable even though both of my eyeballs were getting colder if I felt it. Accepting reality, trying to let go and reconcile myself to the glimpse of my father who reluctantly kicked me out some time ago. I was preparing my supplies. Taking out the items that I would definitely need in my bag; a jar of zyeb as healing potion, a parchment map of the seven continents and the opposite dimension, a bunch of grapes, a bag of silver and gold, and a pair of daggers that I named Mjurdu and Nywest. My goods are not much, whatever I need is actually within myself. Just in case my father wanted to discourage me, I also put on a necklace with our connecting stone called the meta stone. With this stone, I was able to communicate with each other by sending messages that would be received through the artificial dreams produced by the intelligence of our family's hereditary science, the Eloka sea serpent clan. I walked down the stairs and passageways to the mouth of the cave of our residence hidden in this sea of Syl. Sola and Yase accompanied me with heavy hearts. But not only them, some of the soldiers who had been my henchmen all along; Akash, Belta and Tanja also came along and vowed for me to return immediately if the need arose. They repeatedly scolded me for not refusing my father's arbitrary orders -or so they thought. But what could I do? This trait of mine that I inherited from my father was also not that eager to defend myself when it came to the future of our clan. "Promise to use the meta to contact me," Sola said. I nodded, then used my hand to pull her fingers with some reluctance. I kissed the back of her hand reluctantly, then switched to running my hand through her hair that was as smooth as wool. Sola has tears in her eyes, and I regret that. Two months later... "Walye!" greeted someone from the front of the grocery store. I turned my head and saw the old man I called Mr. Zhao waving at me.
