Graduation Night
Aurora's pov
Watching another girl go doggy style for your boyfriend while his hand wrapped around her ponytail isn’t exactly how they describe high school graduation in the brochures.
I was tipsy and I wanted Nick. More specifically, I wanted to find a dark corner and let him thrust himself deep into my hole.
"Rory, wait up!"
Chloe stumbled behind me, sloshing her drink over the rim of her plastic cup. She was deadass drunk, her eyes glassy and a sloppy smile on her face. As my next-door neighbor, Chloe was the definition of a friendly bad influence.
"He went upstairs like ten minutes ago," she slurred, giggling as she grabbed my forearm to steady herself. "Probably looking for a quiet place to get high."
"Or looking for me," I murmured, pulling her along.
We pushed through the crowded staircase. The second-floor hallway was lined with heavy wooden doors, most of them shut. And just down the hallway, moans cut through the quiet.
Chloe let out a loud giggle, clapping a hand over her mouth. "Someone’s getting an early graduation present."
I should be moaning right now under Nick, if I could find him. I rolled my eyes, a smirk tugging at my lips. Feeling reckless, I pulled out my phone and dialed Nick's number.
We stood in the dim hallway, listening.
Two doors down, a muffled ringtone started playing. My smirk vanished.
Chloe’s giggles died out, replaced by a wide, expectant stare. I walked toward the sound.
I didn't knock, I just turned the brass handle and pushed the door wide open.
Nick didn't even notice the door open at first. He was on the edge of the mattress, his back flexed, thrusting deep into a girl from behind. His fingers were wrapped tightly around her long blonde ponytail, pulling her head back as she whimpered against the sheets.
The girl was Tina. Everyone knew Tina—she was the popular high school hooker, and ironically, one of Chloe’s closest friends.
"Nick," I said, my voice deadpan, cutting through the heavy air of the room.
Nick froze. He slowly let go of Tina's hair and turned his head.
His chest was slick with sweat, his eyes dark with adrenaline. And his c**k was still buried inside her.
He didn't look guilty.
Tina scrambled under the blankets, hiding her face, but Nick just sighed and leaned back on his knees.
"Rory," he said, his voice entirely too calm. "You're ruining the vibe. Calm down." He looked at my face, a slow, cocky smirk spreading across his lips.
"If you're that worked up, you can just join. There's plenty of room."
Disgust, hot and foul, rose in my throat.
I looked back at the doorway, but Chloe wasn't shocked. She was leaning against the doorframe, a faint, amused smile playing on her lips.
I felt an overwhelming wave of nausea.
"You knew," I whispered, staring at my neighbor.
Chloe shrugged, completely unbothered by her own betrayal.
"Oh, come on, Rory. Don't be so dramatic. It's summer. Everyone’s just trying to have fun." She glanced at Nick, then back to me with a lazy grin. "Besides, it's not like he hasn't tasted me before, too. Share the wealth."
"Yeah," Nick added, reaching for his pants at the foot of the bed. "It's the last summer before college, babe. Don't be basic."
I didn't say another word. I turned on my heel and stormed down the hallway, the sound of Chloe’s drunk laughter ringing behind me.
By the time I burst through the exit doors of the beach club, the sky had broken.
Rain poured down in heavily, soaking through my clothes within seconds, my sneakers squeaking against the wet wood.
The cold rain did nothing to cool the anger.
Dad died. My aunt tolerated me. Nick cheated.
Apparently, that was the complete list of people I could trust.
Ever since my father's skiing accident two years ago, my life had been a joke. The more people treated me like a problem, the more I leaned into becoming one.
Smoking, tattoos, reckless decisions—it was all just survival. I thought Nick was an escape. Instead, he was just another person treating me like a punchline.
I needed a drink that wasn't watered down, and I needed it now.
I cut across the boardwalk toward a smaller, dimly lit lounge that overlooked the lake. Only a handful of people were scattered around the room.
I walked straight to the bar, slipping onto a leather stool. My hair was soaked, dripping onto my shoulders, and my hands were shaking slightly from a mix of adrenaline and the cold.
"Whiskey. Neat," I told the bartender.
"Make it two," a deep, smooth voice said from the stool beside me.
I hadn't even noticed him sitting there. I turned my head, wiping a stray raindrop from my eyelash, and stopped.
The man sitting next to me didn't look like he belonged anywhere near a high school graduation crowd. He was older, confidently dressed in a tailored dark suit that screamed wealth, and possessed a quiet, dangerous composure.
He had sharp features, dark eyes that seemed to cut right through the dim light, and an aura that commanded the entire room without saying a word.
He was watching me.
The bartender set the two glasses down. The stranger picked up his, tilting it toward me. "You look like you're about to burn this place to the ground."
I let out a harsh, dry laugh and grabbed my glass, throwing back half of it. The burn was glorious.
"I might. Graduation night is a joke."
"A joke?" he echoed, his voice a low purr. "I thought tonight was supposed to be the beginning of your futures."
"My future currently consists of finding out my boyfriend is a serial cheater who thinks a threesome fixes everything, and my neighbor is a backstabbing b***h," I ranted, the alcohol loosening my tongue before I could stop myself.
"So yeah. It's a joke."
The stranger didn't look surprised or uncomfortable by my sudden outburst. He just leaned back, his gaze lingering on the wet hair plastered to my neck, then dropping to the small tattoo peeking out from the collar of my damp hoodie.
"Sounds like you've been surrounded by boys who don't know what to do with a girl like you," he said softly.
His tone made my breath hitch. The heat from earlier came rushing back, amplified tenfold by the intense gaze of this absolute stranger.
I was angry, I was humiliated, and beneath it all, I was still so incredibly horny. I wanted to forget Nick. I wanted to erase the image of him with Tina.
"And what exactly does a man do with a girl like me?" I challenged, leaning closer, my heart hammering against my ribs.
The stranger’s eyes darkened. He set his glass down with a slow click. "He gives her exactly what she asks for."
"Show me."
There was no turning back.
He paid the bartender, his hand briefly brushing against mine as he stood up.
I followed him toward the back of the lounge to a secluded hallway lined with luxury guest rooms. He had a key card ready.
He didn't hesitate. Neither did I.
He pinned me gently but firmly against the back of the door, his large hands cupping my face. His palms were warm, a contrast to my chilled skin.
"Are you sure about this?" he murmured against my lips.
"Don't talk," I breathed, wrapping my arms around his neck and pulling him down.
When his mouth met mine, it wasn't a teenage fumble.
It was demanding, deep, and entirely possessive. He tasted like expensive whiskey and pure control. He explored my mouth with his tongue that made my knees weak.
His hands moved down my neck, unzipping my wet hoodie and letting it drop to the floor. When his bare fingers slid under the hem of my shirt, touching my breasts, a soft gasp escaped me.
He lifted me effortlessly. I wrapped my legs around his waist, burying my face in his neck as he carried me to the large, plush bed in the center of the room. He laid me down, hovering over me like a shadow.
He took his time stripping away my clothes, his eyes never leaving mine, making me feel exposed and deeply desired in a way I had never experienced before.
When his c**k slid into me, it was big, deep and f*****g good. I felt his tongue tease my hard n*****s.
I arched my back, my fingers gripping the expensive sheets as he filled the aching void inside me. He thrusted gently, guiding my hips with his hands.
"Look at me," he commanded softly.
I opened my eyes, staring up at him through the darkness. His gaze was fierce, locking me in place as he drove deeper, driving every thought of Nick, Chloe, and my messy life completely out of my head.
There was only him. Only the weight of his body and the intense climax that tore through me seconds later.
We stayed breathless for a second, then his mouth found my breasts again, pinching the sensitive skin until a soft moan escaped my lips.
"Oh, we're just getting started," he murmured, his breath hot against my wet n****e.
A slow smile tugged at my lips in the dark.
Nick was a mistake I’d have to face in forty-eight hours.
But tonight? Tonight, I belonged to a beautiful monster.
