For such a frightening week, little happened. They attended meetings. Their tour was planned. Mika insisted on joining them to ensure she could work with the local press. They slept in the same room and avoided Arian. Arian had his own flurry of meetings with allies, including military generals and business leaders.
“Arian is trying to consolidate power. He can’t unless your mother approves. She has the largest business in history. More powerful than nations,” Kwan told Ciaran.
“Is everyone ready? Grab your things and get ready to depart. We will begin our tour with the Cloud Nation,” Mika said, hoisting her bags onto a cart.
Cove stared at the room he had lived in for three months. It never felt like home. Despite the aquarium and redecoration, it was still a guest room.
