AT EVE'S HOME

Eve went straight into her room and laid on her bed. She takes out her phone and checks the time. It was 2:54pm, so she decides to take a nap but sees a notification on her phone. When she looks it was a message from unknown number with the message "Hi it's me Thomas". She puts her phone down beside her and takes a nap. Meanwhile her dad is in the living room making arrangements for her new school. Her mom on the other side is figuring out her new fashion poses for a grand exhibition. Everyone seems busy doing their own stuffs and then a call came from the telephone line. It's Emily's mom, Mrs. Meyer. Eve's mom takes the telephone and realizes it was Mrs. Meyer on the line. They spend like almost an hour over the phone, then they both goodbye each other and end the call.

"Mrs.Meyer sends her regards", miss Alice tells her husband and head towards the kitchen to prepare dinner. He just replies "okay" and continues with what he was doing. Miss Alice turns back and says to her husband, "can you please order some food, I don't think I'll be able to prepare dinner". "Okay, what should I order", her husband asks her. "Pizza will do", she replies and heads to her room to freshen up. Eve wakes up due to the knock on her door. She just lies down without even saying a word or making any movement. Dinner is ready her mom says from the outside of her room. Eve then gets up, freshens up and goes downstairs. She sits with her parents in the dining hall, they share the grace and eat their dinner.

After that Eve picks up the dishes and washes them. When she was heading towards her room, her dad calls her and tells her that they'll be going shopping tomorrow. Is that all? she asks and when her dad nods she goes up to her room. She picks up her phone and texts Thomas back and he replies immediately.

Eve: Hi, what's up?

Thomas: I'm cool, hope you good.

Eve: Sure, just had dinner.

Thomas: Hmmm what did you have for dinner?

Eve: Pizza with coke. And you?

Thomas: Chicken with salad.

Eve: Eating healthy huh!?

Thomas: I guess 😅.

Eve : I wanna let you know that I'll not be making it to skateboard with you tomorrow. Sorry though.

Thomas: It's everything alright, why the sudden change?

Eve: It's just that my dad is taking me shopping to only God knows where?

Thomas: That sounds nice and you didn't ask him where?

Eve: I'm not interested besides I won't even know there so I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

Thomas: Well I think for that reason you'll have to make it up to me.

Eve: I've heard you. Goodnight I have to go to bed.

Thomas: Yeah sure sweet dreams.

Eve puts her phone on charge and puts on her headphones. She picks up her shorts and shirt from her wardrobe so she doesn't struggle to find clothes for tomorrow. She then moves to her window and watches the view of the neighborhood, the individuals still on the street and the bats moving from one tree to the other. " What a beautiful view!" she exclaims. Her mind drifted to Emily. Since she doesn't use a phone they haven't communicated yet but she hopes to do so tomorrow with the telephone line. She decides to go to bed playing so she gets enough energy for tomorrow God knows what shopping.

AT THOMAS' HOME

Immediately Thomas got home he heads straight to his room and freshens up. He then picks up his phone and sends Eve a message. He puts his phone on charge and heads downstairs his little sister Charlotte just gets back from school. He helps her with her assignment and she goes to her room and changes to her house attire. Thomas then went to the kitchen and picks up some snacks for Charlotte and himself. Charlotte comes downstairs and they eat all the snacks together.

It wasn't long until Thomas' mom came home. Thomas' mom, Miss Rita Steve is the manager of Blue Bliss technologies and marketing. She comes in, Thomas helps her send some foodstuffs into the kitchen while she goes to her room and freshens up. She then comes to the kitchen only to find that Thomas has put all the stuff she bought in place. She starts preparing dinner and Thomas sets up the dinning table. When she was done he calls his sister and they all sit around the table and have their dinner.

While they were having their dinner, Thomas asks his mom "how was work" ,"it was good and how was your day?" she replies. "Well I met this new girl and I took her around for a tour" he says." What's her name then" his mother asks. "It's Eve, we are suppose to go skateboarding tomorrow". "She skateboards!?" Charlotte asks "Yeah she does" he tells her. "But I thought you said girls can't skateboard?"."Well apparently she's a tomboy and not a girl". Your brother is just looking for an excuse not to teach you how to skateboard" Miss Rita tells Charlotte. " But I hope she's a sweet girl?" her mom continues. When her mom says this his expression changes the thought of Eve being a good girl looks really odd.

He doesn't say a word and they continue their dinner. After finishing their food, Thomas and Charlotte picks up the dishes and wash them. Dinner was great mom says Thomas and kisses her on the forehead then heads to his room. good night Tommy his mom says goodnight mom he says in return and enters his room. He checks his phone then he sees a message when he opens it the message was from his friend Nick saying " Will you come skateboarding tomorrow?", he was about to reply him when another message pops up. He then replies Nick, "yes I'll be there bruh!".

When he checks the other message it was from Eve. "Hi what's up?" she asks. They both keep on messaging each other until she tells him that she will not be able to go skateboarding tomorrow with him because she'll be going shopping with her dad. He feels bad but just has to blend in with their conversation and act normal. She then says she has to go to bed and they both bid each other good night and he decides to play video games so to feel okay. After a while he turns off his phone and goes downstairs only to find his mom busy working on her laptop.

"Not asleep yet his"mom asks. "No I was just chatting with Eve and she said she won't be going skateboarding with me tomorrow" he tells his mom. "Did she tell you why, I hope everything is alright?" "Yeah she's good she's just going shopping with her dad but she said she'll make it up to me" he tells his mom. "Well that's good" his mom says and assures him that she'll make time with him so he shouldn't worry. " Is Charlotte asleep?", he asks his mom. "I put her to bed a long time ago I'm sure she's asleep by now" she replies. "Okay but I can't seem to fall asleep" he complains. "Well do you need me to come put you to bed also?", his mom asks teasingly. He gives her a strange look and replies "that'll not be necessary thanks though" and gives her a wink.

"I'll go to my room and see what I can do" he tells her. "Maybe you can watch one of those your crazy movies" she suggests to him. "Yeah I haven't finish my anime series Naruto!, that's why your the best mom in the whole world" he says to her. She smiles at him and he rushes to his room, picks up his phone and watches his anime until he sleeps and leaves his phone on the bed. His mom enters and put off his phone then goes to her room and sleeps also
