She is different

ALL AROUND AMSTERDAM

Eve wakes up around 8am in the morning. She gets off her bed, walks to her washroom, brushes her teeth and takes a shower. She wears a shirt and a jeans shorts. "Oh gosh I'm starving " she complains. Her mom was making breakfast when she gets downstairs. She decides to eat some snacks and wait for her mom.

"Ummm! my favorite buh u prepared that yesterday" Eve says. "Well I can stop if you want me to", her mom says. "I'm not complaining it's actually good though", Eve replies. Her mom just smiles and serves Eve her breakfast. Eve asks of her dad and her mom tells her he's still in bed. "Hope you ain't do nothing to him", she asks, her mom replies, "of course not if you've forgotten he's my husband you know". "Yh it ain't mean you can't murder him I mean you got the upper hand right"? "Besides I'm thinking of taking a tour around Amsterdam after I'm done with my breakfast". Before her mom could comment she continues by saying "all alone". "Okay you're old enough buh you need to be careful you barely know anyone here" her mom says. "Barely! I clearly know no one here mother", Eve replies.

Immediately she was done with her breakfast, she quickly goes upstairs to her room, grabs her headphones and exits the house. She was confused at first whether to go towards the street at her left side or the one towards her right side. She notices something at the street down to her left, and decides to take that route to start off her tour. But when she gets there it was just a garage sale, "hmmm nothing interesting here!", she complains. She was about to leave when she notices a playlist of her favorite female rapper Cardi B. She asks for the price and and pays immediately, "this looks like a good one" she says whiles holding the playlist in her hand. She heads forward to see what next she will find interesting to do. She sees a park and goes there. She sits on the swing and slowly pushes herself back and forth whiles remembering when she always goes to the park with Emily back at Oslo.

Suddenly she feels a force pushing her on the swing, she quickly gets down. When she turns around it was a guy from nowhere who started pushing her on the swing. "Sorry to scare you I was just offering to lend a hand ", the guy says. Eve just stares at him and moves away but the guy follows from behind. "You look new do you mind me giving you a tour around here" the guy says. But Eve replies rudely "I didn't ask for your help I can get around here all by self, so if you don't mind excuse me". The guy reluctantly leaves without saying a word. "Where do I go now s**t! I should have just accepted his offer" she turns back and goes to the park. She notices the guy sitting on the swing, she heads towards him and pushes him on the swing also. He turns around and sees it was Eve, he smiles and shouts to her "faster". She smiles back and does as he wishes till it got too rough and then he had to shout "stop" but Eve doesn't stop she just laughs and continues pushing but later stops while laughing out loud seeing his face. He falls to the ground and just lies down there while smiling.

He then gets up and asks Eve why she came back for him when she said she didn't need his help but she replies, "or maybe I do, sorry for being rude before will you still help me?".He stares at her and replies "of course why not?". He asks her where she'll love to go first but she just tells him anywhere that he thinks will suit her liking. "Let's go to the skateboard park if you don't mind" the guy says. "Yeah! great I could actually use it for some great practice!". "You skateboard?" he asks Eve and she nods as to say yes. "Well that's great I skateboard a lot too, maybe we can hangout here sometimes" he says. "That'll be fun" Eve replies. "So what now", Eve continues. Few minutes after they arrive at the skateboard park. Eve studies the park very well and compares it to that of Oslo's skateboard park she used to go to.

"Sup neigga" a voice came from behind the two. It was some two guys, well I think that's the guy's friends. They come closer and give each other a handshake. How are you doing? one of the guys asks "I'm slick dude and how's you guys too" the guy asks them. "We good" the other guy replied. Umm! this are my neiggas, Nick and Charlie. Oh! nice to meet you guys Eve says. "Nice to meet you too", they replied Eve. "And you are?" Nick asked. "I'm Eve" she said shortly. "Hey mann! where's your skateboard?", they ask the guy. I wasn't coming to skateboard, I was just taking her around here, she's kinda new here! the guy tells his friend. "Okay mann, have fun". Charlie said and they give each other a handshake again and then they leave. "They seem nice" Eve tells the guy. "Well so which one is it?" the guy asks. "Umm! none I guess", Eve replies.

"It's almost noon the guy" says. "Hmmm, so where next" Eve asks the guy. "Let's go get some food he suggests". "Sure, I'm starting to feel hungry" Eve replies him. He then takes Eve to his favorite restaurant called the New Dew plaza. "Looks fancy", she compliments the place. "Yeah that's why it's my favorite restaurant the guy" says. "So what will you like to eat?" he asks Eve. "Spaghetti with sauce and sausages". "Nice choice" he compliments her choice of food. "I want it packaged so I can eat in the park, I hate public places" Eve says."Okay no problem I'll order some rice and beef stew for my self, oh and some water and juice what flavor do you want?" he asks Eve. "Hmmm mango will do" Eve replies. "I'll take some mango juice too" he says. He pays for the food and they head to the park. "You shouldn't have paid for my food you know" Eve complains. "You're welcome" he shortly replies.

They both sit on the swing while eating and Eve receives a call from her mom she answers it and speaks to her mom. "I have to get going, my mom just called and she seems worried". "Okay let's finish eating and I'll walk you home". "You don't have to Eve" says. "But I insist okay!" he replies. They finally finish eating and dumb their food packages in the trash bin. They both walk towards Eve's house while taking sips of their juice. When they arrive at Eve's house she says goodbye to him and tries to open the door but it was locked from the inside. She takes out her phone and calls her mom. The guy just stands there. "Ain't you going?" Eve asks him. "Just waiting to make sure you get inside" he replies her. She was about to speak when her mom opens the door. "Where have you been I've been so worried" her mom says. Then her mom notices the guy standing behind Eve. "And this is?" her mom asks her. "He's someone new I met here" she replies her mom. "Well what's his name" her mom asks her.

Eve turns and looks at him."I'm Thomas" he tells Eve's mom. "Nice to meet you" she says to him. "Nice to meet you too Miss Alice White". "You know my name?" she asks looking surprised. Eve turns to give him a surprising look. "You're a famous model who wouldn't know who you are?" he says."Okay then I'm going inside" Eve mom's says and goes inside the house."Thanks for today I had a great time" Thomas says. Me too she replies. "Maybe we can go skateboarding tomorrow?" he says to Eve. "Sure you must come at 10am, what's your take on that?" Eve says."Sounds good to me" he replies. "Can I have your contact?" he asks Eve. "For what exactly" she asks, "ain't we friends" he asks her too. She nodes and gives her contact to him then turns to go inside. "Bye" he says she doesn't reply and just walks inside and he leaves too with a broad smile.
