                                                              This diary belongs to Annalise Bailey                                                                                2404 Frontier Rd W                                                                                  Purgatory Creek                                                                    Junior at West View High School I've started this diary at the urging of my school counselor, she thinks it'll be good for me to have a way to vent about my experiences and a way for me to work through the loss of my best friend, Erica. I'm not sure it will help and I feel a little silly keeping a diary at my age, I've always thought of it as something 10 year olds do when they don't have friends to talk to. Though, I suppose with the death of my best friend I'm in the category of not having friends to talk to right now... I'm hoping the awkwardness will wear off in time and I'll grow comfortable expressing my thoughts and feelings in this way. It was always so easy with Erica, I could talk to her about everything and she was always good at pulling me out of my shell. Now I've only got this diary to confide in. I suppose I can at least try to do a couple entries and maybe it'll help me work through everything and make sense of my life now.
