When I start talking to her I know I am hooked and I desperately want to create a better reason to get into her life.

My friend the owner of Jake's Bistro restaurant comes out personally to serve me as he usually does and I can see he's giving me a knowing smile. I know he's curious as to what my relationship with Jeanne Holmes is, às I never bring anyone else to this restaurant she is the first one.

As he walked away from us with the order he turns,winks and mouths "later buddy". I just smile because I am so hopeful there will be a later.

I know Jake Dalanski since we both where kids and when I made it big in the construction business and later the Casino he was still my friend, I helped him set up the bistro and in return I have this table reservation for life. I refused to take any money from him instead I secretly do lots more for him and his family. I think he knows though, but would never tell me.

Across from me sits the ultimate object of my desire. I don't think I ever wanted anyone this much. "So Miss Holmes can you tell me who your brother's boss is." I ask as gently as I can. She mentions the most notorious hoodlum that I know and I can't help but make a low whistle. Joe Denton is one of the worst people in the "mafia" business. Well I think there is a very big problem if her dear brother is working for skum like that. I don't even know if she realizes who this shyster is.

In the criminal food chain he ranks quite high up. This is tricky business and you need to be able to keep your wits about you."'Ok sweetie I can see you have a problem." Her eyes was definitely not smiling now and I could see she looked worried. "Can you please explain what you mean when you say problem?"Jeanne is asking me suspiciously.

I tell her that her precious brother is working for the mafia and that money he took to play in my CASINO is a very,very big problem.

Thats why he is in trouble and probably tried to end it all because he used mafia money intended for something "else." I asked her if her brother is able to talk as I need to talk to him and try to sort the problem out.

She looks at me and half stands up and says quite angrily "You've done enough Sir I don't want anymore of your help."

I must admit I didn't expect that attitude from her. She says with aggressive anger that she doesn't need me to help and that she's actually able to sort out her own personal problems.

We'll I never expected her to be so ungrateful that someone like me would want to help and I tell her so. That makes me so angry thinking here things could work if I help quick enough and get the Mafia on the one side and the Feds on the other side sorted out so to say. Her expression says she's having none of it . What a waste of time in my opinion. I don't smoke but lordy I would like one right now just to take my mind off this problem that driving me crazy right now. She is glaring at me and I want to know why??
