The Alpha King’s Mate

Amber’s POV I look out of the window, staring out at the forest, wishing I could go out, even just for a quick run. “Amber!” My sister snaps, trying to get my attention. “Huh?” I snap out of my daze, turning to look at her, confused. “Which dress Amber!” My sister held the dresses in front of me, they looked basically identical to one another. “Uh..” I hesitate for a moment looking at the dresses. “The right one?” Ava let’s out a groan. “Really, That one?” Ava shook her head and grabbed her cell phone. “I should ask Adrian” Ava snaps a picture of the two dresses. I rolled my eyes, groaning. “Why ask for my opinion if your going to ask Adrian anyway?” I asked Ava with some sort of confusion. “Because your my sister!” I let out a sigh, and stand up, heading for the door. “I’ll be in my room if you need me for something more important Ava” I walked out of her room heading up the stairs to my bedroom. Ava may be my sister, but we couldn’t be anymore different then we are. While Ava is tall,5’11,super skinny, and has straight golden blonde hair and blue eyes. I’m short, only 5’2, with brown wavy hair, and green eyes. I’m skinny as well, but I have more curves than my sister. Ava has always cared about her appearance, then anything else. She is the only female in the pack that doesn’t know how to fight, and wears acrylic nails. Her hair is always perfect, not one hair out of place. She always wears bright pink lipstick, short dresses, and super tall high heels. I had made it to the large, arched door, that leads to my bedroom. I opened it with caution, trying to not make as much noise. Making my way into the bedroom. I make my way to my closet, not soon after I began to pick out some clothes, someone is trying to mind-link me. I open the connection and hear Alpha Adrian’s voice “Can you come to my office please?” I sigh and get changed quickly, heading to Alpha Adrian’s office. “On my way Alpha Adrian” I begin to make my way down the grand stairs, heading to Alpha Adrian’s office. I approach the grand door, leading into Alpha Adrian’s office. I extend my head and knock. I hear movement, he is walking up to the door and opens the door, waving me in. I enter the office and sit down, waiting for some news. Alpha Adrian closes the door and retreats to his chair, and gives me a warm smile. “I called you in here to let you know that we will be having some visitors, They are from the BloodMoon pack” I gasp, my eyes going wide. “The BloodMoon pack! Those are royalty Alpha Adrian, We are nothing compared to them!” Adrian nods his head in agreement. Then hands me some papers. “I know but they are going to help us against the SilverStream Pack. They should be arriving soon” I look at the papers, since I’m one of Adrian’s most trustworthy pack member he trusts me to allow my opinion. Then I hand them back and stand up, straightening my dress. “I’ll go tell the other pack members, They should be able to get this place ready.” Adrian nods in agreement, and stands up heading for the door, and opening it for me. I walk out and give Adrian a warm smile before he closes the door. I begin to raise my voice letting my voice echo through out the pack house.” Attention everyone, We have visitors coming from the BloodMoon pack! We need this place spotless.” Everyone begins whispering,but quickly gets to cleaning. I head back up the stairs, that lead to my bedroom. I open the door quickly and slip in, closing the door behind me. I rummage through my closet looking for something half way presentable. I find a silver dress that I had worn when I went to meet my family in France. I quickly slip it on,making sure to not rip it. It hugs my curves, it’s not really my style but since royalty is coming over I have to look presentable. I head into my bathroom, and quickly braid my hair into a loose braid. I then head back to my closet to look for a pair of shoes but I had no luck. I had mind-linked Ava hoping she won’t be to busy with Adrian. “Ava! SOS! I need some shoes that will go with silver” I didn’t even have to wait for her to respond as I could hear her running through the pack house and up the stairs to my bedroom. She held out some silver,glitter high heels. I grabbed them and slipped them on. “Thanks Ava your my life saver! But now you need to get ready.” “Ready? For what?” Ava asked me confused. “We have members of the BloodMoon pack coming over!” Ava’s eyes went wide. She gasped and grabbed my hand dragging me down to her bedroom. Grabbing two dresses, one black and one gold. “Pick one!” Ava said, slightly out of breath. “The gold one will look nice” I said and pointed at some gold, glitter high heels. “Perfect!” Ava said and headed to her bathroom to get changed. It didn’t take long before she is coming out. The dress fit her perfectly. “You look amazing Ava” I said looking down at my dress feeling out of place now. Ava walked over to me and wrapped her arms around my neck,pulling me into a tight hug. “Don’t worry you look amazing little sis!” I smile and wrap my arm around her, hugging her tightly. Soon after we hear Alpha Adrian yell. “They are here!” I feel my stomach begin to turn, I fix my hair quickly, before heading out to stand by Adrian. As soon as I stand by Adrian, I lift up my nose. I smell an intoxicating smell, I begin to walk closer to the door before a man opens the door. The scent gets stronger as a man walked into the pack house. He was at least 6’6, and he had dirty blonde hair, hazel eyes, and tan skin. I back up but not to far, he grabs me, putting his hand on the lower of my back and pulling me close, wrapping his arms around me. I then hear him say “Mine!” Everyone looks at us. I then hear Ava making her way to Adrian, but before she greets herself she sees me wrapped in the arms of the man. Blush rises from my neck making its way to my face, but before anyone could see it, I burry my face in his rock hard chest, he then begins to rub my back. I begin to relax. Alpha Adrian walks over, the tall man let’s out a low growl as if he is warning him. Adrian stops and backs up. I then look up and say timidly. “It’s ok, he is my alpha, he already has his mate.” The man relaxes and holds his hand out and Adrian shakes his hand, giving him a warm smile. “Welcome King Cameron, I’m Adrian and this is our luna Ava” I thought “At least I know his name now.” I look up to Cameron and smile. “I’m Amber” Cameron looks down and smiles. “Nice to meet you Amber, I’m Cameron as you heard” Alpha Adrian looked at Cameron. “Miss. Stone will show you all to y’all’s room. And King Cameron, Amber will show you to your room.” Adrian winked at me. “Right this way King Cameron.” I lead him upstairs and led him into the Alpha room. It was the room next to mine.
