Story Description

Peace across the kingdoms has lasted for centuries under the protection of the Moon Kingdom.

But that fragile peace begins to crumble when an ancient evil known only as the Blood King begins to rise once again from the shadows.

Far from the battlefields of kings and armies, a human girl named Alina finds her life torn apart when her own family sells her to the feared Lycan King, Kael. What was meant to be a political exchange soon becomes something far more dangerous when Kael discovers that the human girl carries a mysterious scent that awakens his wolf.

A bond forms between them—one that should never exist between a Lycan and a human.

As whispers of an ancient prophecy begin to surface, Alina and Kael soon realize that their connection may be tied to something far greater than either of them imagined.

Because the return of the Blood King is no longer a legend.

With monsters awakening, kingdoms collapsing, and powerful forces searching for the truth behind the prophecy, Kael and Alina are drawn into a war that could reshape the entire world.

And the bond between them may either save the world…

or be the very thing that destroys it.

Chapter 1:The Night I Was Sold
The night I was sold to the Lycan King was the night my life ended. Cold wind lashed against my skin as I stood in the center of the courtyard, my hands trembling at my sides. Above me, the sky churned with dark storm clouds, heavy and suffocating, as if the heavens themselves mourned what was about to happen. I didn’t understand how everything had fallen apart so quickly. Just hours ago, I still believed my life belonged to me. Now… I was nothing more than a transaction. A bargaining chip. A sacrifice. “Stand still,” my stepmother hissed, her fingers digging painfully into my arm. “Don’t embarrass the family.” Family. The word felt poisonous. If they truly saw me as one of them, they never would have done this. My gaze lifted slowly toward the massive black vehicles that rolled through the estate gates. They were sleek, expensive—powerful. Just like the men who stepped out of them. Tall. Broad. Dangerous. The moment their boots touched the ground, silence spread across the courtyard. Even the guards lowered their heads. Everyone knew who they served. The Lycan King. Fear crept into my chest like ice. Stories about him existed in every corner of the supernatural world. Some said he could rip a man in half without effort. Others claimed he ruled with ruthless authority, showing no mercy to those who defied him. And tonight… I was being delivered to him. A silver-haired man stepped forward from the group. His sharp gaze swept across the courtyard before settling on me. I froze. He approached slowly, each step controlled, deliberate. “You must be the girl,” he said. My throat tightened. “Yes,” my stepmother answered quickly. “This is her.” The man looked me over like I was something to be inspected. Judged. Owned. Humiliation burned through me. Was I truly being sold like this? After a moment, he nodded. “She will do.” Three simple words. And just like that, the last piece of hope inside me shattered. My father stepped forward, forcing a smile that didn’t reach his eyes. “I trust the King will be satisfied with the arrangement.” Arrangement. That was what they called selling their own daughter. The silver-haired man smirked faintly. “The King always gets what he wants.” A chill ran down my spine. Before I could react, a warrior grabbed my wrist and pulled me forward. “Wait—!” I gasped. No one listened. My stepmother looked away. My father said nothing. And just like that… I was taken. --- The car door slammed shut. Panic exploded in my chest as the vehicle began to move. Through the window, my home slowly disappeared into the distance. I knew then… I would never return. Tears burned behind my eyes, but I forced them back. Crying wouldn’t change anything. Nothing would. --- The journey lasted hours. No one spoke. The warriors surrounding me were silent, their presence heavy and suffocating. Then, finally— The car stopped. “Get out.” I stepped out slowly. And froze. Before me stood massive iron gates, towering high into the night. Beyond them rose a dark castle, its sharp towers cutting into the sky like blades. It didn’t look like a home. It looked like a fortress. A prison. “Move.” The gates creaked open. As we passed through them, a terrifying realization settled deep inside me. There was no escape. --- Inside the grounds, wolves roamed freely—massive, powerful creatures with glowing eyes that followed my every step. I could feel it. Their strength. Their dominance. This was their territory. And I didn’t belong here. --- The castle doors opened before we reached them. Servants stood waiting inside, heads bowed. But their eyes flickered toward me. Curious. Pitying. I wasn’t sure which was worse. “Take her to the King.” My breath caught. Already? Before I could prepare, I was led deeper into the castle. The halls were vast, lined with black marble and lit by golden chandeliers. Every inch of the place radiated power. Control. Authority. --- We stopped in front of massive doors. They opened. --- At the far end of the room stood a man. Tall. Still. Watching the night through a towering window. Even from behind, his presence was overwhelming. The guards released me. “Your Majesty.” He turned. --- And everything inside me went still. --- The Lycan King. Kael. --- He was worse than the stories. Stronger. More dangerous. Golden eyes locked onto mine instantly—sharp, predatory, inhuman. The room fell silent. He studied me like I was something unfamiliar. Something unexpected. Then he began to walk toward me. Slow. Certain. Each step made my heartbeat louder. Faster. Until he stopped right in front of me. The air felt heavy. Hard to breathe. --- “So…” he said, his deep voice echoing through the chamber. “You are the girl they sold to me.” --- A shiver ran down my spine. --- His gaze darkened slightly. Then he leaned closer. Close enough that I could feel the heat of his breath. --- And what he said next made my blood run cold. --- “You smell… interesting.” --- And for a brief, terrifying second— The mark of something unseen stirred faintly beneath my skin. Waiting.
