“Please, follow us,” Maxwell said suddenly, jerking Betty out of her thoughts.
Ann had a wide smile on her face as she moved ahead towards the red carpet.
Everyone was in awe as they watched Ann walk on the carpet, followed closely by James and Tina.
Tina had her head up as she placed an arm around James. She wanted to enjoy the moment as long as it lasted.
It was something that had never happened before.
Even Liam got his pride back and walked the red carpet behind Ann.
Betty, however, was still unmoving.
Maxwell turned to her again. “Please, is there something wrong?” he asked softly.
He thought Betty was angry already, which was why she didn't want to follow them. Yet again, he was scared of the outcome.
She looked up at Drey, still unable to think of what was happening.
