Marina turned her car on and drove to her house……ding..ding, the gaslight chimed, Ugg I forgot to put gas in my car and the tank is almost empty and the closest gas station is 2 hours away from here, hopefully I’ll make it home. Marina said as she hit her driving wheel, great now I’m stuck in the middle of the road surrounded by woods and I can’t call a tow truck anymore because it’s too late, I’ll just have to wait here and wait till a random person shows up and gives me a ride home. After some time Marina saw bright lights behind her car, she saw a man come out of his car as he approached her car, the man knocked on Marina’s window she clicked the button to roll down the window. Oh yes, I do need help sir Marina said, my car ran out of gas and I need someone to give me a ride home, would you be willing to help me, sir? Sure the man said, thank you for your kindness sir Marina said as she stepped out of her car and closed the door behind her. suddenly she felt the man spin her around so her back was facing his chest. Marina screamed with panic in her voice, Marina tried to pry away with all her might. she felt a damp cloth being placed on her nose and mouth, she tried to turn her head around but his grip on her face was too tight, she felt the strong smell penetrate her nose causing her to feel dizzy and sleepy as she tried to breathe for air, her eyelids started to feel heavy and her body started to feel weak and numb, Marina squirmed until her eyes fell shut. Owww my head Marina mumbled, her eyes were blurry and unfocused, she closed her eyes and opened them again only to see that she was standing in the middle of a circle with strange symbols on the insides of it, her arms behind her back chained together to a thick rock with a metal restraint to hold her in place, Marina looked at the rest of her body only to see she had been changed into a short white dress that reached her thighs, she could feel the fabric of the dress touch her bare skin which made her realize she didn’t have any clothes under it. Marina looked up only to see people dressed in black robes and animal masks. She felt her heart sink in at the bottom of her stomach, her eyes opened wider full of fear which caused her to remember the sudden flashback of her getting abducted. Who..are you? Marina said with a shaky voice, where a..am I? Wh..what do you want from me? Marina said as tears started to form in her eyes. What is your name a gruff man’s voice said. M.. Please I won’t tell anyone! Please! Marina begged as her tears started to fall onto her cheeks. Quiet! The man said raising his voice at her, Marina flinched at the sudden command. I have heard your questions and I will answer them the man said, we are a cult that has existed a long time ago, we worship our god by sacrificing girls as an offering for him sometimes we sacrifice animals too but he gets upset with us and ends up harming one of us. Why do we do this you ask because we get tons of money in return. Now shall we get started the man with the lion mask said as he walked inside the circle with the other person who had a bird mask on. Marina screamed, she saw the person with the bird mask pull out an apple from its robe and handed it to the man with the lion mask, the man with the lion mask walked up to Marina until they were face to face suddenly he gripped her cheeks with enough force to cause her to open her mouth, he placed the apple inside her mouth which ceased Marina from talking or screaming. Marina saw the person with the bird mask take a small jar out of his robe as he walked up to her he opened the jar and poured it on top of her head. Marina felt the liquid being poured on her, she felt the drips fall to her face and onto her body, it had a strange smell to it, it smelled like damp wood with a mix of fresh mint leaves. The man with the lion mask placed a necklace made out of red berries onto her neck, he took her wrist and made a slice in it which caused Marina to jolt in pain, he let the blood drip down onto a book that was handed to him by the man with the bird mask, the book had gibberish writing written on it and a circle with a star in the middle of the page, when the man was done collecting the remaining of the blood drops he walked out of the circle with the man with the bird mask on. Each of them went to a different corner of the room and joined the other two who were already standing in the corner opposite from them. Marina saw a fifth person come into the room with a lighter and candles, she saw the person place candles all around the circle while lighting them up, then the person turned off the lights and walked out the door making the room look darker than before.
