He was in his true form. I froze, my heartbeat quickening again. “Hey, you might wanna turn back into your regular form,” I warned, my voice gaining a sharp edge.
“A better question is, why are you here, Kay?” He ignored my request and took a dangerous step towards me, and I took a step back, feeling the tree bump against my back. Nori turned off the light, and I knew I was done for.
