I had probably never been more focused in my life than I was at that point, standing as the only thing between Raum and Zehna and a bunch of blood-thirsty demons. Still, in spite of how hard I was focusing, in spite of the fact I was weaving and dodging and throwing magic in all forms, jumping and rolling and fighting for my life, I still wasn’t present in the moment.
