Five months later
"There you are, Flower."
I pause my stretching and smile at an out of breath Dimitri who looks like he ran all the way to
the theater from home.
"What are you doing here? The next show isn't for some months? Jac told you all to rest for the
weekend anyways."
"I left a note on the counter," I defend as I skip forward light heartedly to hug him. "I have to
break in my new pointe shoes remember?"
I tap the pink cover against the ground, the wooden blocks in the toes ruining my feet moreso
everyday.
"Ahh, so you'll be needing another pedicure come the end of the week, yes?"
"You've been spoiling me," I chide.
The last few months have been the best of my life. Perfect job, perfect Boyfriend, perfect home.
It's all come together after a childhood of sadness.
