Chapter 11: Arguement

Levi’s Pov

I stared at Simon with disbelief.

Was I happy that we could have pups? f**k yes! All I’ve ever wanted was a mate and a family of my own. And now I could be with Simon without having to deal with annoying elders or pack members about the concern of an heir anymore.

This took tremendous weight off my shoulders and made me the happiest man in the world.

But at the same it kissed me off.

Extremely.

Yes he was my mate but he isn’t marked or fully mated to me and wolves who were mateless, were bold. They would wine and dine others mates and steal them right under someone’s nose.

And now that word got out that Simon could have pups, he’d be a target for any male who was mateless and desperate for love and a family.

I snarled when Simon tried to touch me. He flinched back, looking hurt. I could feel Percy growling at Axel as well and from the tone of his growl, he was just as pissed as I was.

“Baby please hear me out, I wanted to wait for the perfect moment to tell you. I was going to wait until the full moon”

“And why would you wait until then to tell me?” I snapped, fuming.

“Because since I’m of age now, the full moon that’s coming up will bring my first…”

I looked up and he was looking at his feet

“You’re first what Simon?” I asked, exasperated

He looked up into my eyes.

“My first heat” he said shyly, a blush creeping over his cheeks

I stared at him.

“H-heat?” I asked, making sure I heard correctly.

“Yeah” he mumbled shyly before making his way towards me. I took a step back, still angry and hurt.

My wolf however, cheered in my mind and was already happy to forgive.

“Our mate can have pups and would will go through heat cycles? The moon goddess clearly has blessed us!” I internally rolled my eyes. A heat cycle is what female wolves have, it’s when their inner wolf becomes so fertile that chance of pregnancy after s*x is 100%. Plus it makes them really horny for a week straight, they simply can’t get enough s*x and barely sleep because of it.

I knew this was the main reason Percy was ready to forgive. But unlike him, I’m not a horny mutt whose just ready to forgive at the thought of s*x.

He really hurt me.

Keeping something so important a secret? And from his mate? This was simply unacceptable and if the shoe was on the other foot that I was hiding a life changing secret, I knew Simon would put his foot up my ass in a heartbeat.

“Honey?”

“Did you hear what I said?”

“Yes I did. I need some time to process this.”

He nods and starts to walk with me towards the garage but I hold my hand up.

“Without you.”

I see the instant look of hurt on his face and mentally prepare myself for what I know is coming: tears. I remind myself to be strong as percy whimpers in my head.

If I just casually let this go, then he could start developing a habit of keeping this secret when he feels like he doesn’t need to tell me right away. I can’t let that happen. I sigh and begin to speak when Simon’s the first to break the short uncomfortable silence.

“What gives you the right?”

“Excuse me?”

“I don’t tell you one thing and already you’re trying to put distant between us? Is this forreal?” He crosses his arms and glared at me. “You might as well be a f*****g she wolf if you’re gonna act like one, Alpha.”

He spat the world Alpha at me and by now, some of the wolves came back, looking at the situation unfold with wide eyes.

“Look I just wanted some air, stop trying to spin this on me.”

“I’m just telling the truth”

“Your just being dramatic!!! You can’t just withhold important and sensitive information to yourself then just announce it to the world without so much of a head’s up my way!!”

“I said I was sorry, what do you want me to do?!”

“I want you to give me some air like I asked and back the hell up!!” I was raising my voice now and tried to calm myself as I felt Percy was becoming increasingly agitated. I gripped the bridge of my nose before turning to him.

“Go in the pack house and have Tyler escort you to my room. When we both calm down we can speak. Now do as your Alpha commands at once.”

I was awarded a firm slap to the face and everyone around gasped out loud.

“I am not just anyone, I am your mate! And you do not just get to f*****g command me to do whatever you say. How dare you.”

With that, Simon stormed off into the pack house, snarling at anyone who was in his path. Wolves bowed their heads in respect and cleared a path for their Luna before all eyes turned to me.

I snared viciously making people run into the house or look away in fear before taking off running and shifting into the nearby woods.

Axel: Don’t talk to me

Percy: Please, my human is just upset. He didn’t mean to try and command you

Axel: My human is very upset and he told me not to answer you if you called out to me. Can’t say I blame him, all alphas are the same

Percy: I don’t see why you’re being so dramatic, Simon lied and now he can’t handle the repercussions of it. Shocker

Axel: What the f**k does that mean?

Percy: It means your human just loves making poor choices and somehow is surprised when it turns to shit

Axel: HOW DARE YOU?! NAME ONE f*****g EXAMPLE!!

Percy: Kain

A violent snarl rips through Axel before he shuts off his link with Percy

Percy: Baby I’m sorry I didn’t mean it!!

Percy: Axel?

Percy: f**k!

“You better fix this because now Axel is mad at me for trying to defend you! I told you to forgive mate but look where your pride has gotten us! Stupid human” Percy snarls at me before slipping into the deeper part of my mind.
