I didn't understand what she meant by me getting chosen over her, I know I wasn't that strong but she doesn't know me well enough to call me a weakling.

Who the hell was she? I was pissed by her statement, she looks so defiant and bold.

I've never set my eyes on her since I came into this pack.

“What do you mean by that? Who are you to call me that?” I asked her and she laughed.

“Oh wow! I should be asking who the hell you are because you don't belong here!” The lady spat and furrowed my brows.

Who is this unknown lady that is being so rude? It's not like I offended her or we had a misunderstanding, I've never set my eyes on her not until now.

“I still don't understand. How can you appear out of nowhere and start insulting and acting so rude? It's likely you might be mistaking me for someone else because I don't get why you're doing this. We've never met each other before and you're sounding like you know me whereas you don't!”

“Shut up you little brat! How can you not know about the strongest she-wolf in this pack? You should show some respect because you're nothing compared to who I am!” The unknown lady suddenly yelled.

I went mute as I processed what she just said. If she claims to be the strongest she-wolf in this pack, she must be the lady Ryan is talking about!

Now I understand the reason why Ryan doesn't like her, she is worse and has a bad manner of approach.

Ryan said she was going to be back soon but I didn't expect to show up all of a sudden.

I wasn't ready to face her but nevertheless, I won't allow her to belittle me!

She seems so proud and arrogant and her eyes spat so much anger and hatred for me.

“And who cares if you're the strongest she-wolf in this pack? That should be your business and not mine. I've heard about you but wasn't expecting to see you sooner. I was thinking maybe we could get along and become friends but with the situation of things, I guess we are going to become enemies and rival!” I retorted back with a playful smirk and she balled her fist.

Her claws forced its way out and her fangs became visible as she stared daggers at me, I guess she was trying to suppress her anger.

Well, I didn't do anything wrong, she was the one who started by insulting and being so arrogant.

“I have better things to do than to banter with you, it wasn't nice meeting you and you really need to work on yourself.” I whispered to her and turned to leave the training field immediately.

Deep down, I was kind of feeling Insecure because of how strong she was but I had to build my confidence and courage so I could be able to face her.

I was careful enough not to push her to the wall with my words so I don't get beaten up by her.

As I got to the entrance of the training field, I turned back and was surprised that Rihanna was nowhere in sight.

I was still searching for her around with my eyes when I suddenly felt a heavy force that flung me aside.

I landed at the farther end of the training field with a loud thud. I could swear that some joints in my body got sprained.

“You think you can just talk to me anyhow because you are Luna or what? I'm the second in command after Sebastian so you dare not talk back at me, you should be shivered by my presence and I must get the respect I deserve.

I don't care if you're carrying his child, how am I even sure that child belongs to Sebastian! You know the child you're carrying is the only reason while you're still in this pack, once you give birth, your children would be claimed and you would be thrown out.

We have no space for a human in our pack!

When I heard that Sebastian has gotten his mate and she is even carrying his pups, I was expecting a stronger lady but I got so disappointed.

What was that bastard even thinking? How could he go for a mere weakling like you? You have nothing to offer to this pack, you have no potential!” Rihanna screamed at me while I kept groaning on the floor.

All of a sudden, the pain I was feeling disappeared and I could feel my dislocated joints healing and fixing itself.

I was so surprised because I haven't experienced this before, this is actually one of the abilities of a werewolf.

I got healed completely and slowly sat up, I flipped my hair backwards and looked at Rihanna, I then suddenly smiled.

I knew I had no power or skill to fight her back but I'm going to fight her with my words.

“You look so miserable and pained right now. I heard how you have been obsessed with my Alpha since you both were little. I also heard how shameless you are to the extent you give your body freely to him anytime he needs to satisfy his s****l desires.

I understand how frustrating it must have been for you, you must have tried more than a hundred times but he still didn't look your way. How pathetic! Now I get the reason why you're reacting like this,” Those words rolled out of my mouth and I began laughing in a mockery tone.

“Yah!! Keep shut you stupid b***h because you know nothing!” Rihanna shouted angrily and suddenly grabbed my neck, she then pinned me to the wall.

“How dare you? What do you know you good for nothing human?! You think you would be able to survive here? I will be the one to kill you! I can even do that right now and no one would know! You will only be mourned for a few days and then you will be forgotten. Sebastian is mine alone and that Luna position belongs to me also.

I can't sit on my hands and watch a useless human steal what had always been mine from the beginning.

Who the hell do you think you are? A silver wolf? Hell no because you're the weakest creature I've ever come across!” Rihanna let out loudly and I could sense how agitated and maddened she was by the tone of her voice.

She was acting like one who wanted to swallow me alive.

She tightened my grip on my neck and I began finding it so hard to breathe, I struggled to pull away her hands but she only tightened her grip making me gasp for breath.

I was losing my life as veins were visible at the side of my head.

“If you… had all these potential, why did Se…bas…tian choose a mere human like me over you? I thought…the…pack needs…a strong Luna so why weren't you chosen?” I stammered even to the point of death, tears were coming out forcefully from my eyes.

“You psychotic b***h, I'm going to kill you today!!!”

I guess that was the last straw and she couldn't hold out anymore.

She flung me like a mere object to another spot and I somersaulted before landing with a heavy thud.

I screamed out this time because my head wobbled.

All this while, my hands were wrapped around my tummy, I didn't want to lose my child because of this crazy wild b***h.

I knew I pushed her to the wall with my words but I was satisfied with it even though I knew I was risking my life and that of my baby.

She could kill me but I won't allow that to happen.

“I think I might kill you for real this time!” I heard her yell out, I could hear her scattering the equipment and turning the training field upside down.

Meanwhile, I was getting back on my feet already, all my wounds were getting healed already on their own.

That's why I have been able to hold out for this long.

As I got up completely, I saw her charge towards me with speed holding a sword.

My eyes widened and what I thought of doing was to wrap my hands around my tummy.

She crapped my legs and I fell heavily.

She then pointed the sword at my tummy, making me freeze.

“Do you still have the mind to talk back to me? You know once this sword is buried into your belly, you're going to lose your child. I hope you also know the consequences that follow if you lose the child,” Rihanna asked with an evil smirk.

I kept breathing heavily as I was swallowed by fear but I didn't show it.

I looked around and prayed Sebastian would show up or even one of the guards before this stupid slut hurt my baby.

“But guess what? I have no conscience and I don't care what happens afterwards!”

After saying that, Rihanna raised the sword and I screamed trying to cover my tummy.

I suddenly felt the sword in the joint of my right arm and blood spluttered on my face.

She f*****g stabbed my arm, I felt a wave of vein rush through my veins and I shrieked.

“Rihanna!!! What have you done!!!”

That was the last voice I heard before my eyes closed and I lost consciousness.
