Sebastian's POV….
I stood on a spot too shocked to move, I could believe what my eyes just witnessed.
I stared at the beautiful silver colored wolf in front of me and suddenly smiled even though I was confused.
It's so surprising that Ember turns out to be a werewolf just like I was.
Has she been a werewolf all these while but chose to hide her identity? I don't think that's true but she can't possibly just be getting her wolf at this age?
I guess her wolf probably got awakened when I marked, this is so strange though.
Normal werewolves do get their wolves and start shifting when they are eighteen already, why is hers so different? Her kind of wolf is also rare.
Ember suddenly howled loudly and I guessed she was so scared and must be trying to transform back to her human form.
“Calm down Ember, I'm sure you can hear me. There's no need to freak out, calm your nerves and then have this vivid imagination of you transforming back to human. It's not going to be painful at all,” I told her and in the next few minutes, she transformed back into a human.
She was stark naked as her clothes got torn when she was shifting into a werewolf.
She tried covering her naked body with her hands which was impossible.
I didn't know what she was hiding when I literally saw everything last night.
I could see how shaky she was. I understand her situation right now and how I was feeling.
She is just shifting into a wolf and knowing her true identity for the first time.
“What…just…happened? What did you do…to…me?” Her voice sounded shaky and her lips trembled as she spoke.
I instead pulled her for a hug and rubbed her back soothingly, she tried struggling and pushing me off but I held onto her tightly till she finally calmed her.
Suddenly, thunder rumbled in the sky and the rain began pouring down heavily.
That was unexpected because the calm weather showed no signs of rain falling today.
“Calm down Ember,” I spoke softly to her. I guess this might actually be the first time I was being calm and soft towards her.
All these while, I'm always yelling and making her bend to my commands, she is kind of stubborn and bold.
I pulled her to sit on the bed and covered her with the duvet.
“Can you tell me what just happened? Did you do something to me? Why did you bite the side of my neck? Were you trying to suck my blood or what?” She yelled and I sighed.
“Calm down Ember like I said earlier, I didn't do anything to you and this has always been your true identity. You are not human too, your wolf got awakened when I marked you, that's the meaning of the bite I gave you on your neck.” I tried explaining to her even though I was yet to understand what happened.
“That can't possibly be true, I'm a human and something like this has never happened to me. I don't have any werewolf abilities of a werewolf and acts just like a human being so what are you saying?” Ember queried, she was still so scared.
I moved close to her and began stroking her head, I took her hands and squeezed them soothingly.
“Calm down Ember, it's a good thing so you shouldn't be scared even though it's kind of strange. I'm going to call on the pack seer and I'm sure she would have a better explanation on what just happened.” I spoke reassuringly to her and she suddenly pulled her hand from my grip.
I guess she must be wondering why I was being nice to her all of a sudden.
All these while, I've always been angry at the fact that I was mated to a human and a mere human was carrying my child.
I feel glad knowing fully that my pups are going to be a full blooded wolf, I was beginning to question the moon goddess but I guess she has her own way of doing things.
I sighed and stood up,
“You should put on your clothes, I'm going to summon our Pack seer right away.” I told her and then left the room.
Immediately I came out of the room, I met my Beta who was rushing towards my direction.
“Did something go wrong? I heard a loud howl coming from your …”
I interrupted him immediately, “It's nothing, get the pack seer immediately, something strange just happened. Please do that immediately,” I hurried him and he rushed off to carry out my orders.
Few minutes later, Esme showed up, that was the name of my pack seer. She is one of the oldest female wolves in my pack and is gifted at seeing both the past, present and also interpreting strange events.
I told her what happened and she requested to see Ember herself.
I took her to the room Ember was in, she had already put on her clothes and just sat at the corner of the bed like a drenched hen.
I guess she is still shaken by what happened to her a few minutes ago.
“This is Esme, she would have answers to all your questions.” I informed Ember and she kept staring blankly at us.
Esme got close to Ember and checked her out, she asked Ember a few questions which she answered.
“She is the last descendent of the silver wolf, they are a special breed of wolves and are usually gifted with multiple abilities by the moon goddess.” Esme said to me and I was surprised.
It confirmed years ago that all the silver wolves had been wiped out except one.
Rumors circulated round the werewolf territory that the last silver wolf died while some said it went missing, no one knows what exactly happened to it.
I never thought that Ember would be the last silver wolf , life indeed is a sphere.
“However, you have to keep her safe because a lot of other seers must have known that her wolf is now awoken and their Alpha's would like to gain custody of her.” Esme warned and I smirked.
I hope she hasn't forgotten that I am the most powerful Alpha in the werewolf world, no one dares touch what's mine!
