Today, I was reminded that the drive to Indigo Moon is a lot more interesting when I have company. Even though I’ve only brought Jeannie with me the once, I already prefer riding with her along than without her. I had to turn the radio up and try to cheer myself with loud music, but I only succeeded in giving myself an unnecessary headache. And I feel like it’s only getting worse now that I’m elbow-deep into the task of inventorying all the supplies that were set aside for me to pick up, while Mr. Collins, who manages the packhouse here, oversees the unloading of supplies from my truck and goes over his own inventory checklist.
