Sullivan's cell chimed. Pulling it out of his inside pocket, he read, “U misin someone? He safe 4 now. Tomorrow will b interesting.”
He immediately called Sharon, just as Sheila walked in. Holding up his index finger to Sheila, he said to Sharon when she answered. “Are any of your boys there with you?”
“Tommy and Bill are here, why?”
“I just got a text from someone. It sounds like someone has taken Ted and says we will know more tomorrow.”
Falling against the wall as tears rolled down her cheeks, Sharon simply said, “Please find him.”
“I will,” Sullivan responded. Sharon then closed her phone.
