Chapter 13 The rest of the day was uneventful. Ted kept getting up and pacing the office, stopping in to talk to Sullivan a couple times. Something was troubling him, he just couldn't hammer it down. When five o'clock came, Ted was ready to go home. He left without saying anything to anyone, but Sullivan leaned back in his chair and watched him leave. That's not like him, he thought. The snow was light and Ted found the brisk air refreshing. After brushing the light snow from his windshield and starting his car, he sat there a few moments.
