“We're at his mercy, and we still have nothing to go on,” Sullivan said as they drove back to Augusta.
Tweed answered, “Something has to break eventually.”
“It's like we're mice being toyed with.”
“He will eventually make a mistake,” Tweed said. “Let's just hope he doesn't kill someone first.”
They walked into the office and Andy yelled from the conference room, “Come here guys.”
When Ted saw Stan, he rushed over to him and held out his hand, “Stan, it's been a long time. You're looking well.”
“You too Ted.”
Andy then walked up and clapped his hand on Stan's shoulder. “Good to see you old man. I see Cole has dragged you into another mess.”
Ted asked, looking at Sullivan, “What happened out there?”
“Our perp flattened two tires on the cruiser and then sent a message.
