"Oouh!" Sainapei went flying in the air and luckily, she landed on the very hands that were waiting to receive her warmly. The hands held her gently and closely. Sainapei looked her frightened eyes for sometime then opened them slowly after relaxing feeling as if on a sofa. She was staring at a familiar gorgeous face as it it were a rose flower. Guess who, the stranger guy, who had helped her with a gown, the one she was looking for. Their eyes looked and they stared silently as if glued to each other. The students at the corridor watched the free romantic pause. " I...I'm " Sainapei stammered shyly after releasing herself from him. " I'm sorry." they both said in an unexpected unison. " Here is your gown." she said handing him the bag she was carrying. " Yeah thanks." he said looking at her in the eye. " Excuse me."Sainapei said and headed straight straight to the hostels. She locked herself in her room then gazed at the mirror. She never knew what exactly she was feeling. That damn guy was so gorgeous. That week, she had exams and so she was busy with her books. For about a month, she had not seen him until another practical class when he saw her and asked, " Forgot your gown again?" "Not this time." Sainapei said with a faint smile. "By the way, I'm Martin, and you?" he introduced himself as they walked together along the corridor after their lesson " Sainapei." she said confidently. Martin was African and had gotten a scholarship as well to study in Birmingham and was in f third year while Sainapei was in second year. They never met oftenly, only during the practical lessons. As time went by, they got along easily which surprised them Sainapei. Eventually, they started having dinner together, discussing a lot. Funny enough, they had similar interests like, politics and novels. When Martin was in fourth year and about to do his final exams, they studied together and he was shocked that Sainapei knew a lot, even more than she was supposed to.It seemed like they were in the same class. They shared a strong unknown bond. Martin then completed his last paper and went straight to Sainapei. "It's now your turn," he said. " And I'm perfectly ready for it." she said confidently then gave Martin a warm hug since he was already leaving. Sainapei then joined her fourth year in the university. She became more serious than ever. She communicated with Martin oftenly which made her feel great and more confident in herself. Finally, the exams came and Martin encouraged her a lot, " Kick it off sweery." he said sounding so confident about her her. "What was that again?" Sainapei thought and just ignored. " You know I will." she said confidently. She gave the exams all her best and after the last paper, she sat on her bed and made a short prayer. " Dear Lord ,thank you for taking me this far.Thank you because your grace has always been sufficient in my life and will forever be.Amen."
