How do you share a mind with someone, but hide from them information about their future? That's the current struggle I have as I sit with Lilliana staring out into the Celestial Pond in Selene's realm. While Astraea had control to speak with Carter, Selene brought Lilliana and I here so she wouldn't find out the dismal truth of the outcome of this war. Things needed to progress the destined way, but if Lilliana found out Carter's fate, she would intervene. We couldn't afford to have that happen so instead we all agreed to hide it from her. I didn't want to but Astraea assured me that if I did, that things would work out for the best. Funny how that brought me absolutely no closure.
