Astraea's POV-
After the twins memorizing display of power, Lilliana gave me control. Selene was temporarily taking her and Eclipse to her realm to talk about some things, giving me unmoderated time to speak with Carter. Right now, Carter and I were seated at the island in the kitchen eating breakfast. I had insisted we both eat before we talked, knowing that Lilliana was starving. Carter was merely picking at his food, giving me the impression he wouldn't really eat until his mind was settled. I set my fork down and rested my hands folded on the table before turning to him.
"You have questions, Carter. Ask them." He sighed before his gaze met mine.
"Yes I do. I still don't understand what happened. I mean, I get Equinox is locked in my mind, but other than that I am a little lost.."
