Chapter 30The next day, at the hospital, Detective Black came to talk to Jarod. “Have you heard from Tyler?”
“Not since this morning. Is everything okay?” Jarod asked, his chest constricting with concern.
“Yeah. I left Tyler a message a little while ago. Do you have a couple minutes?”
“Sure. Let me tell somebody I’m taking a break.”
“I’ll meet you at the desk.”
Jarod signed out, stopping to alert one of the other nurses. Then he went with Jackson to the cafeteria for coffee.
“We showed the sketch to people who attended that college party,” Jackson stated. “A few of them picked out our guy as not only being there, but talking to the girl and some of her friends.”
