Chapter 32Jarod sat in a limousine on his way to the mayor’s mansion for the celebration dinner. All he could think about was how Ty should be sitting next to him and not Keith. How had Jarod not known until earlier that day that Keith had been the one who’d notified the forces that be about Jarod having saved the man in the car? That Keith had recommended Jarod receive the key to the city? How had he missed that? And why had Keith kept it a secret? Why hadn’t he let Jarod know sooner? Regardless, what was done was done.
