Just as the wife of the chief sat down besides Flora and Maera? a girl came out of a small but designed beautifully hut; and started walkng towards them she stood in front of Maera and her mates, the talked to the man guarding the door, raising her voice up so that they can hear"where did they find these dogs" just as soon as Maera heard her words she leaned sideways and adressed Flora and the chiefs wife and said, hey who is this girl? she looks so stupid and foolish, the girl was so angry and grabbed some tiny stones and started shooting the stones to Maera, and friends.

The chief who was sitting just opposite, stood up, picked up a long stick, the girl did not wait for the chief to come near to her she ran. Food was brought in a pot, spoons were shared to all, and feeling weak from hunger, they all dipped their spoons till they felt their strengths returning; the pot was empty after they finished.

Just then the chief came, announcing that the news has come that the wanted man will arrive afternoon, but they wont be released until the wanted man himself arrives. Maera and Flora gasped together, but thats not fair chief, the chief came up his face close up to Maeras, and a girl voice shouted "noone speaks back to our chief like that," Maera turned and saw it was the same girl again then she said, as I said you just wait for when I'm free I will give you what you deserve. The chief laughed, I like this girl, she is a lioness, who fights for the right she is good.
The girl was angry too and shouted "okay Uncle if you say you like her then get her out of there, I want to fight with her" and see if she is good, the chief looked at his niece face blazing with anger, till the girl turned away? Just then a woman rushing to the chief, and blubbering under her breath for only his ears, which one? this one? she said pointing at Maera ; Maera could not get what was being said between them, but how was I to know, oh okay lets wait for him to get here, Maera and Flora were confused, suddenly running footsteps sounded and voices saying he's here? Oh the chief will have to face him now.
As the running footsteps came into view, Maera gasped loudly; Spencer, he stopped came forward eyes blaring red with anger looked at the door and asked for the key the guard at the door gave him the key and as the key was in his hand he punched the guard real hard that the guard fell like a tree; he swore at the man and opened the lock, went inside and gathered Maera into his arms, Im sorry my love, Im so sorry ; Hadi came in behind Flora and they hugged and the people surrounding them looked on surprised and confused.
