It was 1:30 am when the boat touched the beach of Sandry island. No sign of humans could be seen' only the dogs growling at the new commers. The driver whose name was Saloz said to the two girls," You shall have to wait for me' while I get some of your carries to the family home you will be staying with and I shall bring others to carry the other left over carries; okay? now be good and do not wander out just stay here till I arrive back." " Oh of course Saloz, who would be so crazy to try and wander around a place so umfamiliar and dark !, says Maera ;" " Oh come on "Maera you dont have to be so mean."Moira say's, " she was older and always takes care of her sister, always protecting her from trouble and covering for her when in problem. It was after a while when Saloz arrived back with a man. Muscular rough looking and seem to be around his 50's. Stretching out his big hands he shook hands with Moira, then with Maera and eyeing Maera' say's, "on school holiday?"his left eye brow raised as if waiting for a reply, and Maera say's " yes sir" the man smiled and said "good,: I hope you shall enjoy your stay with us." "Thank you so much "Moira answered. "No Problems" the man added'" maybe you dont know that your father saved my wife when she was a teenage girl, and got lost in the city not knowing where else to go' he found her sitting under a tree by the supermarket, tears cascading but crying silently embarrassed to be seen in such a state. Your father who is such a loving character, saw her, and understanding her difficulty, took her to your mum and advised your mum to ensure the girl is well fed and taken care of. She loved your parents and stayed with them till I came along and met her at your parents place, so I too thank your parents for finding my beloved wife and as payback to your family, I wish that you have a happy enjoyous time with us' here okay? Now come lets carry everything home, and by the way; My name is Ramond Kirst and yours is ?" "Oh mine is Moira, and that is my sibling Maera." They bade farewell to their boat driver Saloz who was to return back in the city before the rough seas, watched till Saloz in the boat dissapeared in the dark horizon as if swallowed by the darkness. They turned and each sellected their carries and set on foot after Mr Ramonds. It was quite a distance and walking and carrying things even though the atmosphere was still at freezing point the two sisters who werent used to carrying heavy stuff and on foot at long distances, were sweating heavily as if the sun was burning high in the sky. On reaching the homestead of the Kirst family, Mrs Ramond came running out to meet her husband and the two girls. Since their fathers message reached her that they would be coming to stay with her for the scool holidays, she had been so eager and anxious to meet them. When she was with their parents Moira was in a boarding high school, and Maera was 11 years in the primary education school of expatriates, whose teachers were all from England. She hugged the girls so affectionately that they felt a sensation of happiness, love and respect towards the couple.
