Finally ,its morning.I was eagerly waiting for this day .I has just been transferred to a new school by the help of some scholarship programme.I was going to another school which we used to refer to as the 'rich kids school'."Oh my gosh! I can't believe it .Jensey is a rich kid"I said giggling by myself."You know that is not true right?"my mom said walking into my room."Did you have to burst my bubble? I asked."Whatever, just get prepared. we'll be leaving early since your dad has to drop me off at work and I can't afford to be late".My mom said leaving."Wait ,you won't be taking me to school?"I asked seeming rather disappointed. "I've got an appointment today so I won't "she said.Anyway what could I do. "Everything is at the back of the car"my dad said as I walked out of the house.By now I was used to my mom missing out on everything,so even her not accompanying me wasn't a big deal.Anyway not a big deal. I was dying of curiosity ,my new school."Are you nervous my dear?"My mom asked."Not really but I'm a little scared.You know that the people that will be around me are all from rich families."I said ."That is not really a big difference, that's just social class difference but I know you are smart "My mom said smiling at me. ***"bye mom"I said hugging my mom tightly,tears streaming down my face .My mom stood there till we were out of sight. **** "Finally "I said as my dad stopped next to a big gate written NINAKSHI HIGHSCHOOL. "wow!" I couldn't help but wonder.the gate was opened for us.From the gate to the parking lot were planted rose flowers of different colours. Next to it was a fountain .I only saw those in movies."Holy papa!"I said leaving my mouth opened.My dad just laughed at my reaction then parked the car.The cars at the lot were really expensive. "Is that Lamborghini?" that was really amazing. "Careful"my dad said as I almost stumbled. We headed to the principals office."Are you the special student the board chose?"the principal asked."Yes Ma'am" I said courteously . "Please call for me Ashley Leone"She told the secretary. At the moment,I was just gazing at her beautiful office .When Ashley came ,the principal asked her to show me around the school.I bid my dad goodbye then followed Ashley. Ashley was a beautiful american height skinny girl. "Hello my name is Ashley"she shaked my hand letting out a smile that can make one melt.I also introduced myself to her. At last she took me to our class.The teacher asked me to introduce myself to the class as Ashley proceeded to her seat.When I said where I had come from,everyone broke into laughter. I didn't know the reason to why they were laughing but I really felt awful. The teacher ordered them to shut up and asked me to sit down to the available seat. There was only one empty seat, so I sat there.He was still laughing at me mockingly. l don't know whether he was my enemy from my past life but I really felt irritated by him. Madam.Lizbeth continued with the lesson. though the whole class laughed at me on my first day, my mood wasn't spoiled. "Hey, what did you say your name was again?"my deskmate whispered. "Jensey"I said looking at him ."Is that even a name ?"He asked me but I didn't bother answering. "Anyway I am Michael "he said turning back to the teacher. Anytime I couldn't concentrate ,he kept poking his fingers into my ears or hair."please stop"I told him but he just pretended as if I was accusing him. "I've had enough "I said raising my hand to call madam Lizbeth but the bell rang ,so she left."Yes miss Jensey "Michael said sarcastically then left. "Hey,what's up with the long face" Ashley asked."Isn't it that git in the name of my desky. he was....." ."you mean Michael ?"she asked in excitement. "well ,you are so lucky to be sitting next to Michael. He is such a cutie,you know, every girl in Ninakshi dreams of being next to him. You are so lucky" She said in amusement. "What about you? do you also have a crush on him?"I inquired. "Lets go and have a snack" Ashley said pulling me out of the class. dining hall The dining hall was neatly arranged to make it classy, the music was soothing. This was really new to me."Wow! "the snacks different drinks was that really a school "Is this marmalade "I asked Ashley in surprise.Ashley just smiled. I picked up as many snacks as I wanted then sat next to Ashley. As I sat down I noticed that the students were glaring at me ."Why are they looking at me"I asked Ashley but she just shrugged her shoulders. "Is she going to finish all that"I heard one of them asking. I really didn't care so I gave them a blind eye."Wow, you really know how to spend your fees" Michael said sarcastically then laughed." What do you want ?"I asked feeling irritated. "Oh , I kust wanted to say sorry for what I did to you in class,so I brought you a cake" He said showing me the cake."Okay fine, we're good " I said." Have it Michael said.As I wanted to scoop the cream Michael pushed my head making my face land on the cake.Cream was alll over my face.Everyone let out a loud laugh.It was so embarrassing. "Please smile my beauty"Michael said sarcastically. "Are you happy now?" I asked tears welding up in my eyes."Are you gonna cry?"He continued .I ran out of the dining hall. ****** "Are you still mad because of what Michael did? get over it "Ashley said . It's easy for you to say that since you are not the one being laughed at by the whole school".I said closing my locker."Don't mind them, lets go and play some balls" She said as we headed to the field. Ashley joined the handball tem but I was not interested in it so I decided to just watch others play. After a while I went to the swimming pool. I inserted my feet into the water plating by myself. Suddenly my eyes were captured by a young man who just rose from the water which made his abs and hair look good.I was glaring at his abs until I noticed the face."Aargh! you again " we both said in disgust..How could a handsome, well built young man be so rude,I thought.Now I get why all the girls were all over him." Hey churl, are you just gonna stand there and admire my groovy body or you gonna let me change ?" he asked sarcastically ."And who said you are groovy? as for me I think you are just a chubby" I said.He gave me the eyes which surely told me that I wss just negating and ironic. Seeing that I just turned and hurried out of there out of shame. .................................. "Good Morning my students" miss Tina greeted us. then we replied in unison . After the greetings my mind went off I had really missed my home. I had really missed the people back at home , especially my sibling Lavin.I tried really hard to concentrate in class. By then I was already used to Michael's teasing .But as for now he was not as pesky as he used to be..At the end of the lesson miss Tina gave us an assignment of which we were to do it in groups of two.Everyone picked their deskmate so I had no choice but to have Michael as my partner.I tried convincing miss Tina to change my partner but she refused" I'm sorry Jensey but I simply can't change your partner because of your petty issues with Michael.Or is there any big reason?" She asked but of course there wasn't any special reason." Just as I thought" She said leaving.Turning to my deskmate, he was laughing teasingly.......
