Suddenly I Become A Prince

"Ugghh!" Eur Yi let out a small groan, as he felt pain in his head and stomach. Eur Yi tried to open his eyes, slowly blinking his eyes. The bright light that greeted him, made it a little difficult for Eur Yi to close his eyes for a moment. "Rio-sama! Are you awake?" Asked the person beside him. Rio? Who is Rio? Eur Yi rubbed his eyes slowly to make his vision clearer. Then after Eur Yi's eyes were fully opened, he saw a person who was very unfamiliar to him standing beside him with an anxious look on his face. "Rio-sama is awake! Hurry up and get a healer over here!" Eur Yi blinked his eyes once more then looked around the room he was in and frantically got up from his sleep which made his head and stomach ache tremendously. "Aw! Aw! Aw! Where is this? Why am I in si-" the question was swallowed back by Eur Yi as he recalled his previous memory. Wait...wait... I should have died from being hit, right? But why am I suddenly here? Wait, where is this?! Amidst his confusion, a woman and a man came into his room in a hurry. The woman immediately hugged Eur Yi very tightly. "Rio! Thank goodness you're awake! Don't you know that you've made me very worried!" said the woman with a very obvious worried tone. Eur Yi couldn't understand. He had also heard Rio's name earlier. Who is Rio? "Excuse me, do I know you? And if I may know-" The woman who hugged him immediately broke her hug and looked at Rio in disbelief. She cupped his face and brought his face closer. Cold sweat started to break out from Eur Yi's forehead. He couldn't stand being stared at this closely, especially since the woman in front of him looked so beautiful! "Umm...excuse me...." "Mei Ying-sama. Allow me to check on Rio-sama." said someone politely to the person called 'Mei Ying'. Mei Ying looked at the old man beside her and nodded slowly. She shifted her seat so that the healer could more freely examine Eur Yi's condition. The man reached into his bag and pulled out something. The physician touched Eur Yi's wrist to check his pulse. "Do you really not remember Mei Ying-sama?" asked the physician very politely. Eur Yi looked at the physician and then at the woman standing beside the physician with a worried look in turn before finally Eur Yi shook his head softly, "If I may know, who is Rio? You guys keep calling him." Eur Yi replied hesitantly. The physician and Mei-Ying stared at Eur Yi in shocked disbelief. The physician seemed to be thinking while playing with his long beard. "A few days ago, you were attacked by some thieves while returning to the palace. You suffered a blow to the head and a stab to your stomach." The physician stood up to retrieve the medicine box he had been carrying. "You were found by Shio Zhang when he decided to pick you up, since you did not come. Thankfully your injuries were not too severe as Shio Zhang managed to give you first aid before bringing you back here." The physician continued. The physician sat next to Eur Yi again and looked at Eur Yi seriously, "It seems like you have memory loss. It's probably due to the shock and impact. The Rio we are calling is you, Rio-sama." Eur Yi stared at the physician in disbelief. "If I may know where I am?" "You are the third prince of the Yuan Gu kingdom, Rio-sama." The physician explained. "Prince? Me?" asked Eur Yi incredulously. "Rio! You're my youngest brother! My younger brother. You really don't remember me?!" asked Mei Ying. Mei Ying really didn't expect her younger brother to not remember her at all! When Shio Zhang gave the news that Rio was injured, she immediately felt extremely worried about her younger brother. Mei Ying couldn't even sleep before Shio Zhang came to bring Rio, who had blood on his shirt. And when the physician said that Rio's chances of survival were slim despite Shio Zhang's first aid, Mei Ying literally begged the old physician to save her little brother. The doctor even took a whole day to close the wound on his stomach, and left Rio unconscious for 10 days. Now, when his little brother woke up. Why did Rio forget about her?! Mei Ying looked at Rio sadly, after hearing the explanation from the doctor, she chose to leave the room. Eur Yi who saw her leave felt very guilty, especially when he saw the sad look on her face. The physician got up from his seat and patted Eur Yi's shoulder lightly. "You'd better rest, Rio-sama. I'll excuse myself." Once they all came out, the room became quiet. Eur Yi looked down at her hands, she did not understand. What exactly happened to her? This morning she was supposed to go for an interview after a year of unemployment. But when she was about to cross the road, a truck hit her. Eur Yi looked around the room. She was really in a different place. But seriously, prince, why did she suddenly turn into a man? Eur Yi gasped in shock as she realized something. Wait wait wait! A boy? Eur Yi felt her chest, there were no breasts there! Eur Yi threw off his blanket and walked quickly to the mirror hanging on the wall, she even forgot about the pain in her stomach. There, in the mirror she saw an unfamiliar face, Eur Yi felt her face. She had hazelnut brown eyes, black hair, and a small earring in one ear. Eur Yi touched the bandage wrapped around her forehead. Was she reborn? All she knew was that this kind of condition was only found in the novels she read or the movies she watched. Eur Yi sighed, her head throbbing again, making her groan. She walked back to her bed, laying down slowly. There was a sense of relief that she was truly reborn. She no longer had to feel alone, at least she knew that the woman who hugged her earlier was a good woman for being so worried about her brother. Since Eur Yi's mother and father died when she was 14 years old, Eur Yi has been living alone. Supporting herself by working here and there, although her uncle and aunt helped but Eur Yi understood that she could not always trouble them. Eur Yi sighed again, if indeed she was reborn.
