The quiet sound of the licks and pops of the crackling flame from the fireplace was a stark contrast to the loud and thundering sounds of rain falling heavily, it sounded as though there was a war going on outside. Alvise sat in his office by the fireplace with a glass of wine in his hand, the vibrant flames being the only source of light in the room.
