Destiny’s Choice

Episode 1  Constanza sat in the chair, dressed in a beautiful white wedding gown. Her face glowed with the soft touch of makeup that only added to her natural beauty. Yet, one thing was missing — her smile, her happiness to be married. Constanza, a simple girl from a small town and an ordinary family, worked as a personal assistant to Ronald, the owner of Grace International. Everyone around her was thrilled and amazed to hear that she was marrying the son of the city’s most successful businessman. The news became the talk of the town. People gossiped endlessly — how could a wealthy businessman agree to marry his son to a girl from a normal family? Was it love, or was there something else behind this marriage? Reporters and media were eager to get answers from Mr. Ronald himself about why he chose Constanza. Meanwhile, in another room, Vijay, the groom, stood before the mirror, his face filled with anger. Dressed in a blue blazer, he looked every bit the perfect groom — except for the fury in his eyes. A knock on the door broke the silence. It was Vinay, his close friend. Vinay stepped in and said softly, “Vijay, accept this marriage. Please.” He placed a consoling hand on Vijay’s shoulder, but Vijay brushed it off roughly and stormed out of the room without a word. In another corner of the mansion, Ronald was in a cheerful mood. Sharing drinks with his friend Sekar, he said proudly, “At last, my plan and pleasure are going to succeed.” Both men laughed, clinking their glasses together. Mary, Ronald’s wife, was the complete opposite of her husband. A simple woman from a good family, she valued people for who they were, not for their wealth. She was genuinely happy that Constanza was marrying her son, hoping this union would bring love and balance to the family. Later that evening, Constanza sat alone in her room, lost in thought, when the door suddenly opened. Vijay entered, his expression cold and fierce. Shocked, she stood up immediately. Their eyes met — hers filled with confusion, his with rage. Before she could speak, Vijay marched toward her and gripped her arm tightly. She winced in pain. “How dare you say yes to marry me?” he hissed. “If you don’t stop this marriage, I’ll make your life a living hell.” Constanza stood frozen, too stunned to reply. His voice grew sharper, darker. “I didn’t come here to ask you,” he said, leaning closer. “I came to give you an order. If you don’t obey me, I’ll kill you.” Constanza’s eyes widened in disbelief. She couldn’t understand what had gone so wrong — why he hated her so much, why a marriage that should have been a dream had turned into a nightmare. Now, Constanza stands at a crossroads. Will she stop the marriage as Vijay demanded? How will she face Ronald, the man who arranged it all? And most importantly, what will Constanza say to Vijay next? To be continued...
