The last night from home

Landons POV

We finally get to go home tomorrow. In 3 more months after hands-on training with my father, The Alpha of the Silver moon pack, my dad will be stepping down and I'll officially be the alpha. I've been working hard for this my whole life every single day. My best friends, Ajak James and Blaze Anderson will be my Beta and gamma.

The three of us have been away at school for the last 3 years and are at the top of our classes. We're the second largest pack in the country with four thousand pack members, but only because the Alpha king lives on this side of the country with a little over 5 thousand pack members, but he's also my godfather.

So, if I were to get behind, which is not likely or need assistance, I know we would be in good hands. I can only hope I can be as fair and strong to the pack as my father has been while protecting them and keeping them safe.

Ajak and Blaze rush into my room while I'm in the middle of packing.

" Man, you ain't done yet? " Blaze says

" That's what i was about to say. We finished hours ago, then went to go look at our options for some last-minute tail since we head home tomorrow. " Ajak joins in

" I had some alone time with Lacey, she thinks I'm just gonna forget all about her once I get home. " I chuckle

" I wanted to talk to you about that. "says Ajak. " Are you sure Alpha Andrew isn't going to throw a fit when he realizes you plan on taking a chosen? I mean I don't know about you, but I ain't trying to get skinned alive by the alpha, so whatever you decide, just make sure I'm nowhere near. "

" Hell be fine. I mean I'm almost 22 and have been to plenty of those damn balls to know that I haven't met my fated at any of them since Lance woke 7 years ago so why not take a chosen. She's already an alpha's daughter, so it's not like it's a weak choice on my part, it could only strengthen us. "I say, shrugging.

" Look, man, we'll back you no matter what. Just make sure, I'm not around when you tell Luna Daphne, that's the one I'm even scared of. Our alpha cowers to her. " Says Blaze. We all started to laugh. My mother and father have the best relationship and friendship I've ever had the honor of witnessing and I can only hope for a love like theirs. My father has the power to control. He's fair, he's ruthless, brave and strong, but when it comes to my mother, he's the biggest coward to ever exist. He's also 6'5'' and over 250lbs and in great shape for his age, while my mother is a tiny 5'2'' woman who is also in shape as well, but maybe a buck 30 and she runs a tight ship.

"!Sure thing. " I say while rubbing the tears of laughter out of my eyes, I've never seen so many men cower to one little woman, me included, since I know first hand that, that is one person you don't want to ever cross in our pack.

I finished packing. Then let the guys know to get ready. My men are the biggest whores in this school and I cant say I blame them. Most of the she wolves here throw themselves at us without any regard to meeting their fated one day. I was the same as them until I met my girlfriend Lacey, who transferred here last year to finish her Luna training.

We spent the next 2 hours talking and joking, then got ready for the party tonight,

We get there and chill out and drink with the guys from other packs.

Ajak had been trying to hook up with a she wolf named Ana beth who's an alphas daughter and seeing as he's a beta she tried acting better than him until she recently found out which pack we come from and now shes all over him.

Blaze and I cant help but cringe everytime she speaks, Its like nails on a chalkboard mixed with the screams of a spoiled human toddler not getting their way type of annoying, my wolf would love to just bite off her head if ever given the chance but thats neither here nor there, her father has an alliance with mine and so far there's been no bad blood between us to drop that, we cant condemn the man for having a spoiled and annoying daughter, right?

I'm sitting and having a good time when a random she wolf comes and sits on my lap trying to rub me down, Lacey picked that moment to walk into the party before I could even push the she wolf off of me and the murderous look in her eyes let me know that she was ready to kill. I didn't have the chance to stop her from sitting in my lap but somehow I knew that I f****d up. Great! Just what I needed.

" Good riddance. We don't need her anyway. " My wolf Lance said as he rolled his eyes. He never held back his distaste for Lacey, He feels something is off about her. He can't even reach her wolf hardly but I just don't see it.

Lacey stalks towards us half shifted, " WHO IN THE f**k IS THIS LANDON ?!?! "She screams and before I've had the chance to answer, she jumps up at the girl who now looks like she has pissed her pants and the both of them are now fighting. I immediately get up and grab Lacey while Blaze grabs the other girl away from each other and I head outside with her while she is still in mid shift.

" Who the f**k was that? " she screamed again.

" I honestly don't know. You walked at the same moment she sat on me, I didn't even have a chance to push her off. " I answer.

" YOU ARE MINE! " she says through gritted teeth, " I will kill any b***h who tries to take what's mine! "

" First of all, you need to calm the f**k down! I'm not looking at any other she wolf besides you, but I'm the alpha and you will not talk down to me like I'm a mutt. "

Immediately she starts crying and I'm absolutely horrified. " I really am gonna lose you, aren't I? "

" NO! baby I'm here. I'm not going anywhere. " I said to her while holding her," I know she's only breaking down like this because we'll be apart till my alpha ceremony.

" But I'm not gonna see you for a few months and by then you might have a better she wolf on your arm or you might meet your fated and forget all about me. " She says while still crying.

I'm doing the best I can to console her and I'm even dumbfounded and not sure how to handle this situation. They don't teach us about handling inconsolable women in Alpha training.

" We won't be apart for too long. We can talk every day, baby, and if it gets to be too

much, then I can either visit you or you can come visit me. " I assure her.

" Really?? " She replies.

" Absolutely baby, " I say and she finally calms down, smiling and wanting to go back to the party, and I'm at a loss for words. I've never seen her flip her emotions so quickly but I just figured that it is because she's worried about us being apart.
