Landon's POV We have just left school, Ajak, blaze and I are on our way to drop off Lacey at her pack since she lives near by and then driving the 4 hours back home, When I say Im relieved to be out of Alpha school I honestly mean it, I met a lot of soon to be alphas, betas and gammas and got along with pretty much all of them but this just means one step closer to achieving my goal and taking care of my pack. " I'm going to miss you so much baby. " Lacey says and wraps her arms around me in the back seat, looking like she's ready to jump my bones. " I'll miss you too. " I tell her. " Just remember what I said last night. " " Oh baby, what if I'm feeling that way now? " Lacey groaned. " Please do not f**k in my backseat. I neither have the time nor the patience to clean that mess out of my baby. " Blaze mind links me and I look at him. full of humor. " Nah man don't worry, your backseat is safe today. " I mindlink back and then looked back at Lacey. " We'll soon be together again, then I'll gladly annoy you for the rest of our lives. " A wide and toothy grin appeared on her face. " I'll be counting the days. " She replied. Just as we pulled up to her packhouse We helped her get her luggage out of the back. Then her father walked out and I greeted him, " Alpha Anthony. Nice to see you again. " " Landon. " he nodded his head. " I'll have to make arrangements with you for a chat another time. " Alpha Anthony said. " Looking forward to it, sir. " I held Lacey and gave her a pg kiss since her father was around, we said goodbyes, then got back in to the car and left their territory. " Home sweet home, here we come!! " I commented, just waiting to be back around family once again. LARIYAH POV . . . . 15 hours later, and we finally landed. I'm not sure I'll ever get use to this time change, but the climate here is beautiful and warm. I'm definitely going to have to go shopping for new clothes since all I packed up was warm outfits. It's the middle of afternoon and apparently the silver moon pack has their own landing strip. An older, tall and highly muscular man is walking towards us who I can only assume is Alpha Andrew. He's bronze with dark hair and doesn't look older than 30. " Jake, Hazel, how nice to meet you, I've heard so much about you. " The man said while shaking my parents' hands. " Alpha Andrew thank you for taking us in. Let me know if there's anything I can do to repay you. " My father says, " Yes alpha, you have no idea what this means to us. " Hazel says.. " Actually, I've heard that you were the beta at your last pack. I was informed that you've even knocked Beta Davis on his ass a few times. " Alpha Andrew says, chuckling. " I used to be, until Dayton took over after his father passed, then I got bumped down to warrior. " My father replied. " That doesn't sound like the legal way of doing things in a pack to me. " Alpha Andrew exclaims. " Well, maybe there is something you can do for me. " " One of our fighting instructors is about to retire and I have an available spot open for you if you're willing, that is. " Alpha Andrew continued. " It would be an honor, maybe I'll teach your old beta a new thing or two while I'm at it. " Dad joked. " Hey. I might be old but I'm still kicking Jake, I may have some moves that not even you know about these days. " Beta Davis smarts back. Alpha Andrew turns towards me and shakes my hand. " Ahhh you must be Lariyah. I've heard you are quite an interesting young lady. I have the papers drawn for you in my office whenever you are ready to go look. I know you must be tired after a long flight.. But I have to ask, would you be opposed to showing your wolf to me? " I looked at dad and then at Hazel, who just nodded with approval. I looked back towards Alpha Andrew and nodded my head in agreement. " Here, in the silver moon pack, we document our pack members and their wolves, since it's such a big pack, but no one else will have to see her if you don't want to and I guarantee it will stay between us. " Ahri pops up saying, " Yes, I like this alpha, I feel that we can trust him. " Then she groggily goes back to sleep. It took a lot out of her to heal us and I knew she was exhausted. " Yes, Alpha Andrew, I don't mind showing you, I actually slept most of the way on the plane and wouldn't mind doing every thing now. I also wanted to thank you for taking us in. " I reply. We started walking to what I'm guessing is the alphas office. " It's no trouble at all. Don't worry about your bags, the omegas already know to bring them to the furnished house we've gotten ready for you. Lets just step into my office and I'm sure you will agree to the contract, but I want to make sure it's for your comfort. " We stepped into a room with a couch and a huge desk and some bookcases. Alpha offered us a seat and some drinks but we declined the drinks. " So, I'm going to tell you a story that my great grandfather told me, about the only other wolf like yours to have ever existed that we know of. He heard about it from his great grandfather as well. So it's been centuries since one has ever been recorded to exist. " The room was silent as we waited for Alpha Andrew to continue. " But the story is when my 4th time great grandfather was a young boy, there was a war going on and all he wanted to do was protect his father. " Every one could feel their alpha getting weaker by the minute and just knew that he was not going to make it. " he says. Just then Ahri perks up out of her sleep very interested in this story for some reason. Alpha Andrew continues. " So, even without a wolf, this young man leaves the rest of the women and children in the shelter to try and rescue his father, whom he loved and cherished very much. At such a young age, he even managed to stab and kill a rogue wolf. " " But he was no match for the rogues that were attacking his father. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a silver wolf that shined bright and beautiful appeared. " " Every single wolf, on that field stopped attacking each other. Rogues and pack wolves alike were bowing their heads. Their human counterparts were even more confused, since they had no intention of stopping. But the wolves recognized their queen immediately and all the power she had. " " She then disappeared and hasn't been seen since. " Alpha Andrew leaned up, staring at me. " Lariyah, I'm telling you this story because even though we never knew what happened to her. My wolf, immediately felt your wolf's aura and power, similar to that of our ancestors. He feels as if there may be a connection. " Alpha Andrew ended the conversation. I don't know when I started crying or why. But by the end of his story, I felt some type of emotion and I knew where it was coming from.. Ahri.... " Lily was scared of what she had just witnessed. She went home hoping she wasn't followed but instead she was attacked with silver and wolves bane. She was raped and murdered by her own pack the very next day. " " She never understood why they would do that to her, She was the sweetest soul who never got to live passed 15. The day Alpha Andrew spoke of was her 15th birthday. She had no one, she was beaten all her life and forced to sleep outside..., The moon goddess saw so much potential in her and wanted to give her a better life. " " So she sent me to her but it was very short lived and she never got the chance to know me or what we could become. The Moon goddess was so devastated by how her children chose to treat her, because Lily was her greatest gift to them. That's why this time she chose to make sure we could heal and were not affected by silver and wolves bane. I'm only gifted to the purest of hearts, but that is all I'm allowed to say at the moment. " Ahri whined in deep thought as she was reminiscing a life I never knew she had. My eyes bulged out of my head at what Ahri had just told me. " Are you telling me that you were also Lily's Wolf Ahri?? centuries ago?? " " Yes. " she answered but said no more.. I decided not to relay what ahri told me and chose to just look over the contract. We all signed with blood and signatures with no issues. Alpha Andrew then officially merged us in his pack after we pledged our allegiance to him. He told us his son would soon be home from alpha school soon and he wanted to be there to greet him. It felt strange joining this new link with thousands of members, but I felt at home at the same time. We said our goodbyes with a promise to finish this conversation up later and my parents and I, made our way to our new home to unpack the little we had, plus we had to see what all we needed. Something about being here feels right. Like a pack should. We don't have to live in terror any longer. A weight has lifted and I felt as this was where I was meant to be.
