We finally made it home. As we are pulling up to the packhouse. I see my father, mother and little sister Gabriel standing by along with Ajak and Blaze's family.

Only the Alpha family, the beta family and the gamma family live here, but on different floors. So Ajak, Blaze and I pretty much grew up as brothers.

We get out of the car and walk towards everyone waiting to greet us and I immediately catch a mouth watering scent of strawberries and cream cake with a hint of coconut.

Lance and I are starving and can't wait to curve this craving. " MMMM, I believe Miss Rose may have outdid herself this time. "

" Whatever she cooked up just gave me the biggest appetite. " I say

Ajak, rubbing his palms together, says," You can't help but to miss Miss Roses cooking! I hope we're eating first. "

" Most definitely, I'm starving! " says Blaze.

" Boys!!! " My father bellows out. " Get over here and greet us properly first. You will get your food soon. " He hollers out while laughing.

" Dear, they have always been hungry and greedy growing men. Can you blame them? They are in fact just like their fathers. " My mother says while pulling me in for a hug.

" If that is the case, then they had better start eating smaller portions now and diet while they still can or else training is not even going to be enough for the war coming their way against that pesky food guts that we're currently struggling with. " Beta Davis chimes in.

War? What the hell happened while we've been gone? I think to myself but decided not to ask just yet.

" First, you boys should head on in and get washed up. You've been on a long drive and goddess knows what you've dragged home. " Beta Lilian says.

Our fathers looked at us with amusement, knowing exactly what we did at the training school, since they themselves had been to the same school as us, back in their day.

" Boys, don't forget to grab some of your luggage though. The omegas have spent all morning and afternoon preparing everything for your return. The least you can do is help them out. " My mother called out. We do as we're told because, like I said before. You don't want to be at the short end of her wrath.

" Okay, fine! But someone better save me some cake! Lance has been driving me crazy since we got here. " I said as I grabbed my bags and walked inside.

I head to my room and dropped off my bags, then trotted into my bathroom to shower. It's been hot all day, so I just stood under the cool water coming out of the shower, letting it drip down my body. " We are really doing this, Lance," I exclaimed to my wolf.

" I'm proud of us, he replies, but there's something strange about coming home today. Like I feel something exciting may happen soon, but, I can't put my paw on it. "

" Same here, but only time will tell. But for now, I'm just ready to eat. I said while getting out of the shower after washing up, I wrapped a towel around my waist, then headed into my room to get dressed and rushed down the stairs. I didn't want to wait for the elevator. I may be an alpha soon and an adult, but when it comes to Miss Roses' cooking, I'm like a kid in a candy store and have been sorely missing out on it since I left.

The food back at school doesn't even come close to what miss rose can whip up. I've only been able to indulge in the few visits I have had coming home.

But I'm really waiting for dessert. Something about that delicious smell is getting to me, but it's fading. It must be outside already.

Hours later and we're finally sitting outside in the courtyard eating and joking, while laughing and catching up with the family, when Gamma Rayna stands up, getting everyone's attention.

" I am so proud of you boys. " She starts out saying as soon as everyone has quieted down.

" I've watched you go from the cutest little pups, to messy, and unbearable toddlers. Between Luna Daphne, Lillian and I, I never thought it was possible for us to get an inch of sleep, while raising the 3 of you. "

" Especially when they became curious teenagers " Mom interrupted and laughter erupted from the table, while the 3 of us groaned.

" They say it takes a village to raise a child and I, for one, could definitely not have done this alone. I'm so thankful and proud of our village. Just as I'm thankful and proud of the three of you growing up into the headstrong, brave and smart young men that we could only hope you'd be. " Gamma Rayna said as she finished her speech.

" I definitely second that! " says my mother.

" Cheers ". Everyone clinks their glasses together and takes a drink. I finished my food then got up to go to the dessert table. Rose is currently filling it with enough treats to spoil an army.

I'm not seeing what I want though. I turned to our head chef, " Miss Rose, where is the strawberries and cream cake with coconut that I've been dying for? " I inquire " I'll help you bring the rest outside if you'd like. "

Miss Rose is giving me the most questionable gaze and I'm starting to wonder if I even imagined smelling it to begin with.

" You didn't, I've been salivating about it since we got here. " Lance says in my head.

I look back at Miss Rose and she gives me a small smile and nods her head. Then she says. " I'll get right on it Mr. Landon. " Then she proceeded to head inside, which I thought was strange, but shook it off, because I noticed one of the warriors whispering something in my father's ear. He him excused himself from the table, racing inside, followed by Davis and Austin.

I was curious what could be going on and thought of that war comment that was made earlier, so I did the same. They could have only gone to his office, especially if it was anything pack related.

I walked up to the office and heard my father screaming at someone, since the door wasn't shut all the way, but I can't tell who it was.

" YOU WILL NOT HAVE HER!!! YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO ALL ALPHAS EVERYWHERE AND SHOULD BE REVOKED OF YOUR STATUS, AS SOON AS THE KING HEARS ABOUT THIS!!! "

My father shouts and then heard his phone slam down on the desk.... I'm curious to know who he was talking to and who this her is. Before anyone could say anything else, I pushed open the door and walked in.

My father, Davis and Austin looked up out of anger then relief when they saw who had interrupted... I finally broke the ice and said, " WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON? "
