Oh My Alpha

It's almost time

Landon POV

It's been a few months since I have been home. I haven't been able to contact this Alpha Dalton. It seems like he just disappeared and I have no more leads. So for now, I'll just leave it alone. But other than that, learning everything about the pack with my dad has been great. In 2 weeks we're doing the Alpha ceremony and I'll get to officially announce Lacey as my chosen mate and luna. We visit each other when we can, but I know she's just getting anxious for these last couple of weeks to hurry up so we can be together.

It would be nice to see my beta though. He started seeing some new girl from the pack and I haven't seen him much, let alone met his new girlfriend. I will say he's turned over a new leaf from being the man w***e that I have known him to be, but if he's happy, then so am I. Just as long as he isn't slacking on his duties to the pack.

I'm out on the training grounds with the warriors. Its 5:30am and we're doing our exercises. " Well would you look at what the pup dragged in? " I hear Blaze call out which caught my attention and I turned to see Ajak jogging up.

" Long time no see man. " I said as we bumped fists.

" Yea man my bad, I got to bed late picking up Lariyah from a late shift. "

" Oh yea, the mystery girlfriend who the best friends have yet to meet? " says Blaze as he walks over.

Her name itself intrigued me,... Well my wolf anyways. I just rolled my eyes to the fact that he became so spring so fast.

" Hey, she just graduated from school, man, on top of working and volunteering out at the hospital. But she is turning 18 tomorrow. Maybe we can all get together and hang out. "

" Sounds great! I can't wait to meet the women who caught my betas eye, making him stop sleeping around and drop his boys. " I say. amused

Lariyah POV

" Lariyah can you help me with this pup? We gotta do a checkup. "

" Yes Dr. Morello, I'll be right there "

Tomorrow is my birthday and I am honestly excited for it. This pack has been amazing and with how many members there are. There is always someone new to meet. Ajak has been a great friend even though I know he wants more between us. but I already told him, I don't want to date. I'm waiting for my mate. Ahri feels as if he is in this pack but she doesn't know who he is. Not until tomorrow, anyways.

After I first got here, my dad asked me if we could fill the king in on my situation with Ahri. I was a little hesitant to do so but once dad and Alpha Andrew explained to me how telling the king could help and King Harris actually agreed, then I was more than willing to tell him. He's a kind man. His Luna queen is gorgeous and the kindest soul I have ever met.

The kings men were ordered to arrest Alpha Dalton and some warriors to bring them to the castle for execution for their crimes, but when they got there, it's like half of the pack just vanished..It actually just made no sense to me, so when he didn't show as he said he would two months ago. A part of me felt relieved but then another part of me feels as if something bad will happen soon... I wish one of our powers would be knowing the future sometimes, so I don't have to make myself sick with worry, but all I can do is live my life.

Ajak has helped me so much. It was hard keeping Ahri a secret from him. Especially since he went out of his way to make sure I was good. He walked me to and from school, to the hospital and to work. There hasn't been a day that I haven't seen him since we met and now he's helping me train and learn defense. It only made sense that I should trust him enough to tell him my secret and everything going on with me. So he signed the blood pact, and he has taken it upon himself to be my protector, even when I don't need protection. His only concern is that he is our future beta and he has told me about a conversation he's had with our future alpha and gamma when learning of the blood pact and he can't even tell him. I feel bad because i think he has been avoiding them because of it and I know they are his best friends, like brothers. I know I'm going to tell them as well, because they will have to know eventually, but I haven't even met them yet.

I graduated from school a month ago and I'm not even sure what I want to do now besides the fact that I want to help others. I've lived in a wolf pack full of murder, poverty and abuse of other wolves. There were good times and bad and not everyone there was guilty of the torment, but anyone who followed Dalton blindly was a problem. So I just know I want to help other wolves get out of that type of situation, who doesn't have anyone to help them the way that Alpha Andrew, Beta Davis and Gamma Austin helped my family and I find peace.

I had just finished with my volunteer work at the hospital when I felt someone reaching out to me through the mindlink, so I opened it and it was Ajak.

" Hey babygirl, would you and Ahri like to go on a run tonight? I had already talked to Alpha Andrew and your father about keeping a lookout on the scene and they agreed. "

I already know exactly what he means. Alpha Andrew had come up with a solution to let Ahri run on occasion. The alpha, beta gamma, my dad, hazel and now Ajak have been clearing out certain areas in the woods and keeping watch for me while we run. I know they have to go out of their way to do it, so I try not to bug them too much about it. Ahri understands as well. She doesn't want anyone putting our needs above theirs and I whole heartedly agree with her.

" Absolutely!!! " I reply

" Great. We're clearing an area around 11 so I'll come get you at 1130? "

" Perfect! I'll be ready and I cut off the link then head home. I want to at least take a nap before tonight. "
