LANDON POV

" Son, what are you doing in here? " My dad says after trying to calm down

" I came to see what the rush was." Who were you yelling at? I reply

" Alpha Dalton of the black vipers pack."

" Dalton? The black viper pack? Aren't they on the other side of a different country?

What is going on? "

" That is a need to know basis son. "

" As a future alpha of this pack, don't you think that is something I will need to know? "

"You will in due time, but as of right now, I am still acting alpha and I literally can not tell you what is going on at the moment. You don't have the clearance for this.. "

" How do I get clearance then? Because it seems like my future status obviously doesn't mean s**t right now dad!"

At the moment I was starting to get a little pissed off, I thought I would've been cleared for everything, since I am supposed to take over this pack in a few months.

Unfortunately, I wasn't the only one getting pissed. " THAT IS ENOUGH!!! YOU WILL NOT TALK TO ME LIKE THAT AS YOUR FATHER AND ALPHA!! " My dad yells

" From what I heard, it sounded like there may be a battle coming and I noticed Beta Davis and Gamma Austin know what's going on, so shouldn't I be in on this as well? "

" Landon, " Davis interrupts.. " You are right. I agree that you have every right to know as a future alpha, but this is something neither your father nor I nor Austin are allowed to discuss with you. "

Then it hits me... " You've signed a blood contract!! " i put my hands on my head, wiping my face.. " Wasn't it you that always told me how dangerous blood contracts are?Why would you do something that would put your life at risk? "

My father just sighed while sitting down. " All I can tell you without breaking the contract is that it was necessary. We don't intend on disclosing any binding information to you or anyone else unless you are given permission. "

" Then who do I get permission from? I'll go find them right now and get myself on this contract. "

" No, you will do no such thing! " My father grits out.

" WHY? If it is that important, then I should know! "

" You will.. Just not right now. This contract is protecting an innocent and the less that know the better. "

I am seething at this moment and storm out of the office. I need to go on a run. If a blood contract is done and something is disclosed on it to another party who is not part of it or involved in said contract, then that person can and will die a painful and horrible death along with their wolf. Even if something is said by accident or if someone was listening in on said conversation... The only way to break that particular contract is if the main person that is involved dies, and the only way you can know that information on it if they are not dead is to be invited to sign it by said person. I don't know what kind of s**t my dad has been getting into since I've been away, but if it involves a blood contract, then its not good.

ANDREW POV

After Landon stormed out slamming doors, I became mentally exhausted. I know he should know, but right now is not the right time. I will need to have this discussion with Lariyah about the boys knowing. I have a feeling she knows more about the story I told her.

" What do you want us to do, Alpha, " Austin asks.

" We'll need to discuss this with Jake, as of right now we can't even go to King Harris about this until we get her more comfortable with us and ask if King Harris and the boys could know as well. Otherwise, there will be a war coming. "

" I'll get Jake in here immediately. " Davis says

" No let them rest for the evening. I know we're all exhausted after today. We all just need to collect our minds and look at this from a fresh perspective tomorrow."

"Yes, Alpha, " they both say in Unison.

LANDON POV

I'm running through the forest when i get a mindlink from Ajak and Blaze.

Landon. " What's going on? Where are you?"

I tell them where I am and a few minutes later, they show up.

" Bro, I can feel your rage from a mile away. We just got home. What is going on? " Ask Blaze

" They signed a f*****g blood contract with someone! "

" WHAT!!?? " They asked in unison.

" Who the f**k did that? " Ajak says

I shifted back into my human form, knelt down, shaking my head and said, " our fathers. "

They stood frozen, eyes wide, bulging out of their heads in shock.

" Why would they do that? " asked Blaze.

" I honestly don't know. It's not like they can tell me anything. Unless they are ready to risk life itself. "

" We have to do something about this. Maybe we can figure out what's going on without them telling us anything. There is one person who is allowed to disclose that information without the risk of anyone dying. "I say

" Yea, but how are we going to figure it out? We don't even know where to start, man. " Says Ajak

" Actually I think I do. I need to talk to Alpha Dalton of the Black vipers pack. This has something to do with him, but I know he's not involved in the contract or else my dad wouldn't have said that little information. But then again, I feel like there may be a war with him soon. "

Well good job buddy, you haven't even been on alpha training at home for a day and we're already about to go to war with a bunch of bloodthirsty demons who have the nerve to call themselves wolves. " Ajak and I both looked at Blaze after he just said that in a what the f**k expression.

Ajak punches blazes arm, " bro what the f**k? " he says with his hands out. " s**t sorry, you guys know I'm not that great with talks like that. That's why I'm the gamma. I don't have to talk. I'm here to be all muscle for our future Luna and fight to protect the pack. "

Leave it to Blaze to lighten up the mood. We started heading back to the packhouse to get some rest.

" By the way, on the way here I saw this banging ass new pack member. She was a goddess. I think I need to get to know her, " says Ajak

" New pack member? What are you talking about? " I ask

" Dude, do you not read your pack emails? Since we've been gone since the last visit, we've gained 32 new members. I call dibs on this new girl though. "

" By all means, " I chuckle while shaking my head. f*****g horndogs...
